Main changes from 6 months ago (previous guide): No more gauntlet / tournament tabs. Rotation is more than once a year (next one is in August). After August, Standard and Eternal ranked Queue's will alternate (Only 1 will be open at a time), finally the challenges tab has been heavily reduced and I recommend completing all of them when you start the game so you can do your prologue missions! Other than that, if you're seeing this guide series for the first time I hope I helped breakdown the tutorial, explained the menus well, taught you how to import/craft decks, and gave some good quick tips on how to optimize XP for card collecting! Was there ever an explanation for the reduction of challenges. It seems like an conflicting decisions. As their whole point was to educate and engage new players, getting them into the game. There might be a ton of mechanics or systems many new players might be confused about. Lack of understanding of the games systems and mechanics may serve to discourage new players pushing them away.
@@PyroAquaVentusDragon There wasn't a direct explanation and I also found it kind of weird. I think it's to simplify the new-player experience cause there was admittedly way too many challenges, but I'm not entirely sure
Awesome content, subbed! I am a long-lost Runeterra player returning since there have been a raft of changes and the game is almost unrecognizable. Really appreciate the insights and guidance, definitely will be sticking close to your channel. Do you think the near-term focus on PoC is good for the health of the game? I feel perhaps with Arcane and the recent increased mainstream presence of League that new players will come in, but it would be a shame to lose PvP entirely, or even new sets going forward. Cheers!
I appreciate it! I think the focus is good. Hopefully when the focus doesn't "need" to be in certain places and everything is being handled equally, then it'll be awesome and I think they're working towards that tbh. They've mentioned that they're not abandoning pvp at the very least

I played for a year or so when this first came out and i followed a streamer i think Megamogwai or something like that. I hvae been looking to get back in but i saw the devs video talking about ranked. Is the competitive side even worth it? I dont mind path of champions but i loved the tournaments and gauntlets.
Tournaments and gauntlets have been removed, but the ranked ladder is still up. There are also community led tournaments that riot themselves appreciate and have said they want to help support. So that’s cool at least

am i the only one who cant see the missions 😭 whenever i click on them it only says next pvp win but on the notification.. it says i have 20+ missions
