Hi Harry, Another brilliant episode, I think the spoon mule is excellent, the simple ideas are often the best. I am looking forward to the next film, take care, regards, Chris.
I recently came across with some videos where people make wooden puppets ( marionette). I was amazed at how talented people do this kind of fine work and now you are making these wooden Dutch dolls. This is wonderful.
I've never seen that version of a clamping bench before. Thanks for sharing the detailed description. Am also enjoying this part 2 of the penny woodens.
Thanks for sharing your videos Harry. Great little gadget which I’ve downloaded the plans for from your website. A very worthwhile cause too 😃 You’re a true gentleman and a pleasure to watch on TH-cam. Keep them coming, all the best Colin 🙏🏻
Hello Colin.. sounds like you successfully downloaded Harry’s Spoon Mule Plans. Harrys website doesn’t seem to connect for me. Do you think you could share the plans with me.? Thanks Jake..
Hi Harry. I loved the videos where you "bodged" things. My favourite is the chair in a day one, that was incredible. Was wondering if you're planning any more like that? Lawrence
How did you trilled the holes in the torso of doll? And how long did it take you to finish the project? Thanks for sharing your knowledge it is a great pleasure to see your videos! Greetings and stay save!
Harry another awesome listen. Great video. Hopefully will be building Spoonbill shortly . Guys purchase the plans and make one. It’s a great charity every little bit counts.
Hi Tom, I know people who had added actual saddlers clams to the mule, it could be used as it is but it would be a bit shallow and it would be easy to over tension the jaws and damage the leather.
Hello Harry I have watched many of your videos with great interest.. speaking of which may I ask your opinion on leather Ratchet belts ,I know the leather if often not even Leather ..but if good quality leather was an option are those types of belts something you would consider making or is it something for you uncaptivating in some traditional rooted way. Keep up the good work.
Hi Harry, I do enjoy your videos. The French knife you refer to - what is the name of it - it sounded like power knife but I cannot find it referenced anywhere. Where would you find one - or did you make it? Thanks for sharing so much diverse content!
Hello Harry, I wanted to donate to that charity by purchasing the plans for your spoon mule but couldn't find the plans can you point me in the right direction? Thank you

Wow yes only 13 or so here, I just looked at a map and you are quite a lot further south, I wouldn't mind a bit of that warmth today.

@@harryrogers Harry would like to purchase the plans for the spoon mule please can't find where to get the plans. Could you help, please?
Coming to this video rather late. I can’t find a link to the plans for your spoon mule. Are the plans still available?
Thank you
Could you use the spoon mule to hold leather while you do a saddle stitch?
Hi Tom, I know people who had added actual saddlers clams to the mule, it could be used as it is but it would be a bit shallow and it would be easy to over tension the jaws and damage the leather.

Hi Andy...it's not one I particularly want to explore especially as oak bark leather varies in thickness down the hide! Best wishes Harry
Can you show how to make the spoon mule
Hi Harry, I do enjoy your videos. The French knife you refer to - what is the name of it - it sounded like power knife but I cannot find it referenced anywhere. Where would you find one - or did you make it? Thanks for sharing so much diverse content!
Thanks Bill, Its a paroir.
@@harryrogers Thanks Harry
What is that big shearing knife called? I think I'd like to make one.
Hi I am not certain if you are referring to the drawknife or the paroir, but I hope that helps.
@@harryrogers The paroir - thanks, that set me in the right direction. I found the apparently related terms 'stock knife', 'cloggers knife'.
