We also scored an N64 but had to negotiate to make the deal worth it. Always on the hunt for retro games, vintage toys and 80s / 90s nostalgia at Flea Markets, Thrift Stores & Garage Sales! @@retrorick I have a little question for you Rick. For retro console, is it better to sell them complete or separate (console, memory card, controlers)? I have an NES, a game cube and an original Xbox and they are collecting dust. I was wondering, what was the best to do with them value wise?

There is a awful trend of Flea markets charging ebay prices for stuff. Flea markets are supposed to be dirt cheap not ebay prices
Even worse when garage sales base pricing off eBay. It’s happening lots near me, they barely sell a thing too
I mean, there are no rules, you just liked getting cheap deals when people didn’t know what things were worth. Now all of that information is easily accessible… Why would they knowingly sell for less? I’m assuming they’ve thought about their business model and have determined they can make more profit doing this, just as you have.

I found two complete N64 systems at a yard sale this summer, both had two OEM controllers and two were Atomic Purple. One had an OEM expansion pack and the other had an OEM jumper pack. I paid $20 for each!
My favorite is the N64 $100.00 wasn't a bad price seeing how when it debut in the mid-late 90's it was $199.99+tax. But it is always nice to get deals retro. Are you gonna give your brother in-law a couple N64 games out of your collection. The problem with buying old systems is they may be reasonably priced however some games probably will be a hundred dollars or more. With my luck my favorite games for the console are probably the most expensive games.
100 $ is a fair price but why not just buy it another time
Thankfully I decided to get a second hand N64 from an associate at my local Disability Organization. It had the same controllers, and a good amount of games, and I got the whole thing for $15AU. Thank goodness I held onto it, given it's full of potential.

Hey, I'm a newbie to this channel. I had that big Alf plush toy. I got it for my Birthday in 1988. You know those little Alf puppets were from Burger King. I forgot how what kind of food you order to get one of those. But you would collect those puppets. The one you picked up is the one you get with a record. That one came with a song called Melmac Rock? Those little records were picture discs. I had the baseball one. In fact, me and my brother had the same thing. I even remember the commercial with the one girl who is dressed up in this really 80s Burger King uniform with one of the puppets saying, "You wanna a Whopper? No problem!." That commercial you showed for that Alf plush toy, I literally had a flashback watching it. I haven't seen it in years.

I had to smile when I noticed something. On the floor near the Backstreet Boys game was a black chicken roaster with white dots on it. My mom has a few of those, and she uses them on a fairly regular basis.
