My sako S20 groups sooo good, everything about in is great, but .... stock sucks and you cant replace it, GRS and most other stocks are not compatibile. So finally I upgraded to SAKO 90 quest. So much better rifle (adjustable trigger, perfect stock). With one minor con .... standard sling mounts I replaced with QD (must have on modern rifle).
Why not shoot heavier bullets, than what you show in the intro? 75gr V-max? I'd be trying some 108's etc... Nice rifles though. That torx screw in the tang looks like an afterthought by Sako though. It not being ambidextrous is a deal killer too. I'd probably just buy a Tikka.. IMHO..
With the Sako you can have either the Hunter stock or the Precision stock, or you can mix both to your liking. One rifle, two applications, and a lot less money than buying one for hunting and one for the range.
Their pic mounting system has one flaw! You can’t get a tier one monomount onto it!! I would prefer a full length rail so this is a bad design for a QD monomount or normal monomount.
@@delhogg5380 well if you think you need a monomount for hunting I'm sure you will be happy to carry a heavier target rifle with a full length rail on it too.
Handled one of these at the stalking show this year. Can honestly say it’s the worst rifle I have ever handled I’ll stick with my tikka 695 and howa 1500 mini action.
@@chrisparkin431 I’m not knocking the review Chris. Just my personal feelings, I also felt the stock was awful. It’s all preference at the end of the day. My howa is my favourite rifle and it cost 500 quid.

The best group of shots from SAKO ever...

Great review. I just bought one in 6.5 CM (Australia). excellent rifle
Another great vid bud, you’re not a bad shot either. 👍
Certainly a nice looking bit of kit.

The Sako S20 stock does not "suck" .
If they chamber this a 7mm rem mag with a 1:8” twist (like seekins and browning), I will immediately grab one
@@christopherpirquet5957 look on the Sako website, they have all the specification options and special order listings
Not on the green tech when i looked

Did you not listen to the video? No heavier bullets were available in the store(s) he went to at the time of the video.
Chris, plerrease, help a newbie 😅 308 cz range or 308 sako s20 hunter, for precision shooting? Your thoughts?
@@Kodreanu23 well the name on the rifles kinda says that. One says range, one says hunter.
@@chrisparkin431 thanks, Chris
