This month in 1966, ‪@thetemptationsofficial‬ released their fourth studio album titled "Gettin' Ready" 58 years ago! The album was released on June 15, 1966 and peaked at #12 on the Billboard 200 chart and #1 on the R&B Albums chart. This album also features two of their #1 R&B singles "Get Ready" and "Ain't Too Proud To Beg," led by the legendary Eddie Kendricks and David Ruffin.
By celebrating it's anniversary, me and ‪@paul_williams_fans‬ wanted to share this underrated gem from the album led by the late, great Paul Williams on "Who You Gonna Run To?" Listen to how smooth Paul's vocals were on this song! And y'all know how the background vocals get down. This song is one of my favorites on the album. Can't nothing beat the "Classic Five."

When I first played my "Emperors Of Soul" box set, this was one of the songs that really stood out to me. Paul did a magnificent job. And "Fading Away" is my favorite song off the "Gettin' Ready" album.
