I love the album as a whole, but Blue & Grey REALLY hit. As someone who lives with depression and anxiety, the boys absolutely nailed the constant struggle. It's incredibly powerful when massive artists use their platform to show the world their authentic selves.
I definetly recommend listening to older albums ( the most beautiful moment in life, wings, you never walk alone) if you liked this one, they're quite different but its just more the vibes of the songs, and the production quality that is just *muah* chefs kiss (they're also just personally my favorite albums from bts). welcome to forever broke 😬
bts said that the reason why dynamite's on the album bc it parallels how at the end of every concert they light fireworks so they can sneak out without us realizing and being sad... so it's like a promise that one day we will be back in concert and reunite... i just hurt my own feelings

I hear ya about the pandemic in the US. I literally have gone nowhere since it started and people were advised to not travel and spend Thanksgiving with people outside of their household. Yet we've had over 3 million travelers at the airport. Other countries freak out if they have a small spike in the US people are just like don't tell me how to live my life. I just feel this holiday season is going to be disastrous for the US. Like why can't people sacrifice traveling this year.
My dog was going under a column-disease surgery the day this album came out and BE felt as the support I needed. So I kinda get what Ash was saying about the mono comfort because to me BE felt the same. Such an incredible album 💜. Our boys never disappoint

After listening to the whole album...it’s an album that we all needed at this time. Especially with them talking about what they are going through. I am very proud of them for putting out this kind of album. It’s a very honest album. And since the album came out, I have fallen asleep to Blue & Grey numerous times!😅 it’s depressing, yes! I can confirm, nearly fell asleep to Blue and Grey a few days ago and I totally agree with you. It's a very sad song, but it's also strangely soothing. It actually reflects Tae a lot in my opinion, or at least it reflects him when he gets sad. I think we can all agree when Tae is his normal happy self, he's an eight dimensional alien and that's why we love him.
No one's talking about this but Telepathy was in yoongi's drafts since forever, and was supposed to be thrown away, but jimin heard it one day, and decided to include it in BE and thus telepathy was born!

Tae really wrote this based on what he had been going through and I can totally feel and relate to every single word. I’m so glad they made “Dynamite” the single. I definitely think the vibe is what we needed as just a fun, feel good track. The stages they’ve done for it have been seamless everytime (CAN WE PLEASE TALK ABOUT MMA AND MAMA LIKE WTFFFF😩🤩), but I really, really want them to perform “Dis-ease” or “Telepathy” at the New Years Eve concert. I love love love your album reviews so much (as an Army I’m especially biased towards the BTS ones lol.) 💜 They have their own places but the dorm at the Hannam Hill still exists. I’m sure it’s easier for them to chill/work/sleep there during promotions or when they have schedules.

and it depends what genre you like, i think they have such variety so just listen to as much as you can and find what you prefer.

I’m so glad they made “Dynamite” the single. I definitely think the vibe is what we needed as just a fun, feel good track. The stages they’ve done for it have been seamless everytime (CAN WE PLEASE TALK ABOUT MMA AND MAMA LIKE WTFFFF😩🤩), but I really, really want them to perform “Dis-ease” or “Telepathy” at the New Years Eve concert. I’m not even asking for choreography!🤣 I’d just love to see them jam out to their other new songs. Overall, I truly enjoyed this album, and it really feels like a hug from BTS with every listen.
