I really like how even when plummetted down to the earth at breakneck speed, Testament still has the awareness to grab their hat on the way down.
Funny thing is, they don't seem to care about Potemkin's attack UNTIL their hat flies off.

Testament is such a vibe. They just have want to go for a stroll and drink some tea, and everyone is fucking with them. Understandable, given their past, but they really just want to go for a walk.

Don't get me wrong, i also love Testament old design, but DAMN Arcsys made a FINE job with the new design! They look AMAZING!
They where so reclusive back then, isolating themself in a forest after the whole "Justice" ordeal, we can see how meeting Dizzy and seeing her thriving alongside humans afected Testament. They realized that it's possible for them to be accepted as well, even after the atrocities commited in the name of "Justice".
Dizzy freed Testament, allowing them the confidance to finally "go for a stroll", leaving the forest to live their new life as a Gear, because now they know that being a Gear doesn't make them any lesser than humans, that revelation is the cause of the huge personality shift from the reclusive neurotic person threatening humans that come too close to their forest, wanting to hide and protect Dizzy from everything, to the ELEGANT GRIM REAPER we have today. Testament was always kind, polite and gentle, it's just that now they can express that much better.
Now the whole gender thing don't actually surprise me that much, Testament was always characterised as androgynous, is just that now we have different ways of adressing it, and it's great that Arcsys did!

@@boti5055Basically from what I know Testament once met Dizzy after they were resurrected while being persecuted both for being a gear and the things they did in the past while dizzy was persecuted for their strength and being a gear and testament quickly began comforting Dizzy and since then they have been close friends

So I have been doing like voice practice for a more feminine voice but then also at the same time evil deep voice and now I realize It's just Testaments voice.

Testament always had some kind of voice filter.
I’d say it’s due to them being a Gear, but I don’t think even Dizzy has that sort of effect on her voice.

It's always been like that but it was done worse in older games
probably a filter to help with the whole idea of Testament having no gender, by making the voice sounder more "extra" it can help a bit i guess.

I can’t tell if it’s because I’ve become more used to chips eng va, but I feel he’s been getting better at him.
I like the male voice more because it plays into a “Dude looks like a lady” song reference, which also works into Guilty Gear’s rock inspirations. Plus, I just like the dichotomy of it.

Yknow hearing the English va after listening to the Japanese one for so long is intresting because it makes me look at their desgin ina different manner the voice having an affect on the perception of the design where previously with the more femme voice the body looks more femme to my brain and with the masc voice more masc/andryogenus.
Idk these are all good things I’m just noting how the va changes the way the character feels and looks while staying true to the charecters. Basicly an example of how the voice can changes one’s perception of someone. Testament is cool
Yeah I’m definitely more fond of the English VA since it really plays into the androgynous aspect of their character. A deep, masculine voice with a feminine appearance really pulls the whole character together.
