Hi Danny! I’ve stayed at GVR many times. I was there, well stuck on the freeway, when they grand opened with a big fireworks display. Literally couldn’t get off the freeway. Came back the next day and it was fine. I’ve eaten at that bar and yes have put on too much horseradish. Yaaaaaaay. Love it. They have full pay video poker there. The bank is marked with a display on top screaming 100% or more. They restrict what points you get on this machine. They have much fewer types of games not on theirs. They used to have all the regular games at proper schedules. Now just a few. No more full pay Deuces the last time I was there. They closed the buffet during lockdown, which was one of the better ones. When Palms was built it was a Malouf Brothers property and was sold to Station. Then San Manuel bought it. The rooms are nice but in need of a refresh, IMHO. Still a nice property. My brother and sister in law live not too far from it and Sunset Station so I stay at one of them for convenience. Green Valley Ranch is truly a great place, had the good fortune of seeing Average White Band there awhile ago. Would go back anytime.
My husband and I used to go to Green Valley Ranch 3x a year before the pandemic. There have been a lot of changes and unfortunately not good changes. They used to have an awesome buffet but discontinued it☹️ The locals loved GVR but it seems no longer. All good things come to an end.

"Oystery" taste because it is an oyster. You rated the oyster without anything a 6 and with all the condiments a 9 so you really liked the condiments and not the oyster.

I won’t eat raw oysters….it freaks me out. I DO like fried oysters with either lemon, tartar sauce or cocktail sauce. A friend of mine once made Fettuccine with an oyster, cream and Swiss cheese sauce. VERY GOOD ….but it was really really rich! Cheers DTM, 💕
