Right on Bobby. You deserve a nice studio. Here's wishing for it to turn out even better than you imagined. Cheers from Slovenia dude. Thank you for the helpful videos.
Thanks for the upload! It is great to see that you are worrying more about the space / what will make it better to work in as opposed to WHAT is going into that space. Love to see that you are still confident in your workflow and are sticking by it! Always an inspiration man, keep up the solid work!
Somebody already commented on the pan law default for Reaper and Pro Tools respectively, and I do think this is part of the reason as to why there are differences in summing between the two platforms. To me it also goes to the way Reaper handles audio routing. You have no real mono input and tracks. I tried replicating my mixing template in Reaper and I got significantly lower volume in comparison in the way I was doing it. This is one of the reasons I don’t like using Reaper for mixing except for some recording and speed editing. Pro Tools to me handles this area much better.
Looks great dude!!!! Just wanna say, if you haven't already purchased Phillips Hue, i personally think LIFX is much better. brighter, more saturated lights at a competitive price. and you don't need a hub to operate them, only internet. source: me! i have 150 between my studio and my house and love love love them.
Great to know! Do the LIFX clutter up your network with all of those lights? I like that the Hue is on its own Zigbee network, but I'm open to other options if they're just as good.
I came across a video for the Lauten Snare Mic. We use just a SM57 on the top for recording, anyone know if this mic would be worth it? The bleed through filtering is for sure better than the 57, but the price is high for me.

Nice one man! Yood luck with the build. 💥💥💥
Looking forward to seeing the studio once it's done. I was a bit disappointed to not see a Palm tree as #7 MUST HAVE ;-)
You're right man...the palm tree should actually be #1 🤣
Great video Bobby! I'll consider these things in my upcoming studio build.
Definitely share your entire building process with us in the Mix Crypt! That 500 square foot studio is gonna be so sick 🤘
