I traveled to Sudan in February of 2019. Quite a challenge to get there with needing approval 3 months in advance with passport sent in to embassy. I’m so thankful for that experience though. I haven’t been to even a quarter of the number of countries you’ve been to, but Sudan was my first third world country to visit. I’m so thankful for that experience because the people there were amazing. The culture and love I felt was unexplainable. Even today, I have trouble translating to others what that experience meant to me. Awesome video! I loved it!!!!

Hey Lexie! First time watcher of your channel and I love it! I’m also an avid traveler and I endeavor to make it to as many countries as possible. I’m 31 and I’ve been to 51 countries so far. Unfortunately, I’m in a wheelchair and I was just wondering about the accessibility of some of these countries. I’d really like to travel and write a book specifically for traveling with a disability. Would you say there were some countries that would be impossible to travel to for someone who’s disabled? I’d love to get any input/knowledge you might have. Again, awesome content! I’m glad I found you.

A friend of mine went on a 7-day tour of North Korea before the travel ban. He wasn't supposed to leave the hotel grounds without his guide, and when he tried to, he was stopped. He wasn't allowed to speak to any North Koreans except for his official guide, which of course was difficult. In spite of the strict rules, he was able to see that outside of the narrow list of places the guide took him, much of the the country is very poor. The lack of food was evident. But he really enjoyed the trip and was glad he went.

You barely mentioned Iran, which has this bad rep for visa apps for Brits, Canadians, & Americans. I had no problems getting my visa last year. I filled out the paperwork, sent in the $200 with my passport to the desk in DC & a month later I had my passport back with the visa in it. I did it myself, no help. It's not complicated. Trouble comes if you're a journalist, military, or try to hide something. THEN there could be some sweaty palms. For the avg citizen, it's a longer, more expensive process, but a month is not too bad. I'm happy to help anyone who asks.

It has a lot of nations such as Turk, lor, balooch, kord, arab and etc. It has a lot of foods that they are very delicious. It has a very rich history and it's very ancient even more than egypt. Love the vid but for your central and west arrica section, you talked about south sudan and somalia, both east african countries :/ maybe the section should've been all of africa or separated south sudan and somalia into an east africa section

hahaha that can be the case! Though it is extremely important that at least 1-3 people have your itinerary and know when to expect to hear from you again.

@@tigry639 That's actually very dangerous, you always want at least 1 reliable person to know where you are at any given time while traveling in more "risky" areas.

@@LexieLimitless To be fair the planning has to happen before telling anyone... people tend to talk you out of doing things unless they see its basically happening

I would be very nervous if I were to travel to North Korea! It would be neat to visit it just because of all that we hear in the media, but I would probably have a stomach ache the entire time due to making sure that I always follow the rules! I do find it interesting how Americans are able to travel to Equatorial Guinea without many problems where most of the world has a significant challenge.
