Teams rooms can join Zoom meeting and Zoom rooms can join Teams meetings all using Direct Guest Join via WebRTC. It is a cut down meeting experience but still gives you the basics of what is needed. Apart from that you could use a byod bypass to borrow the camera mic and speakers from the Teams Room and join from your laptop.
Every time I restart my unit the camera cannot starts when I join a meeting while it still works if we test the camera…the only way to make it back to work is if we factory reset the room mate…I am using the Logitech rally plus hardware
Raise a ticket with Logitech support. Should not need a factory reset. When you restart the unit are you only restarting the Roommate or also the camera hubs
@@UCStatus only roommate but I notice if I restart anything else problem will also happen…Logitech told me that they are aware of this issue and working with Microsoft to fix…did you also noticed this problem with Microsoft teams and roommate ?
Roommate doesn't have Google meet on it. Only Rally Bar and Rally Bar Mini right now. Huddle is coming. If you want standalone compute for Google meet you use a CTL chrome box
@@UCStatus thanks, but I don't want the short answer lol. I want to know what we're investing in. Talking their word for it is not good enough when investing thousands.

Thanks for making it difficult to switch easily between UC providers Microsoft... gotta love it.
Is it possible to seamless have zoom and teams calls without having to go through a fresh configuration each time?

Can we add a mic pod to this?
If you add Rally System or Rally Plus, yes. Up to 7 mic pods

I only see the problem when the Roommate powers on before the camera. As long as the camera (Rally system) is powered on first it works fine
@@UCStatus thanks for your feedback I will be performing more test…also I think I will try to use shorter cables
Can you use this with google meets?

How do you set up Ring Central?
getting a prompt for a provisioning code? please advise
You'll need to generate that in the ring central Admin interface
Anyone know the hardware specs on these? Logitech doesn't post it anywhere.
The short answer is plenty. More than capable of doing what it's designed to do for many years to come.

@@UCStatus where are you seeing the processor model?
Intune
Don't get the Logitech Roomate. It sucks. Stick with the Windows version or you will lose a lot of functionality and your users will hate you.
For that it's more MTRoW vs MTRoA. Not Roommate vs a PC
