The new armor Ike is wearing seems strong but also uncomfortable at the same time.

that actually based on real armor for mercs back then....but it's alot more fancier what the engravings. they usually have their dominant sword arm unarmored or barely armor for maximum flexibility, responsiveness and speed and armored up the other arm heavily.
