Buying groceries in my area, and paying my credit card bills on social security has been truly hard. I'm grateful that everyone here is doing their part, but still hard. Love your videos!

I use credit cards for groceries. I pay in full each month. I earn extra credit points which I can use against the balance. Credit cards are a major problem if you leave a balance but not if you pay it in full each month.
Joe-the-Husband ran into a clearance on Toll House morsels last Spring and got a lot of them. I was not happy with how many, but now that the price is insane, I am glad. Like you say, grab the sales. Walmart has decent clothes off and on. I just got the nicest, softest nightgowns there, (which are hard to find, because it seems like just about all the gals are wearing PJs). SKECHERS AT MEIJERS! That 's when I get mine on BOGO, or Buy-1, get 1 for $1.
One thing that I noticed my local Walmart (Michigan) had this year was tall sized shirts. They have not carried them in the past and my other half is very tall and we normally have to shop online to get his clothing. I was glad to get him some shirts that I didn't have to pay an arm and a leg for.
I was at Kroger today, I found sales on products I needed, in fact I save close to $60 today on my groceries for just me. Since I am retired, I was very happy. Also Kroger has promotion on 12 day holiday sale. I was able to get any 2 liter soda for 88 cents, 1/2 gal of Eggnog 99 cents, 33% off on fishers nuts. I reside in the northern part ohio.
I work at Walmart Southeast Florida. Our store has been insane; customers are shopping. They may be more conservative in what they purchase, carts are full. The problem I see is theft is going up; that will affect prices also. Vendors, suppliers and manufacturers will must increase cost to Walmart.
I live in MN and there are certainly a lack of deals around here. I have 6 Walgreens within a 10 mile radius of me and I can't do any of the sale deals because none of them have enough product. I envy the deals you are getting.
I live in MN also, and the only place I am finding really decent deals is Aldi and also Target but because we don’t have Kroger or Meijer here, I think we are getting left out of all that. Walgreens where I live have had a stock issue lately. It’s like everything is sold out and not being replaced.
I went to Khol's a few days ago and had to wait 20 minutes in line even with all registers open. We're making a run to the grocery store after work to grab a few things while they're on sale.
Went to Kroger today... good grocery items ,but service was horrible. One cashier-run line open with lines down the aisle. I'm thinking about looking elsewhere. central VA

In Florida I go to Beall's Outlet and their prices are better than Walmart and much better quality in clothing and gift giving. Check it out if you have one near you. Not Bealls... Beall's OUTLET.. MUCH CHEAPER.
I just went to Dollar Tree and stocked up on gift bags, tissue paper and cards. One gift bag or card will cost you 5.99 everywhere else! You need to go by this weekend or it will be hard to find what you need.
I did the same. I love D.T. gift wrapping supplies. I thought the I paper would be thin but it isn't. And it has a grid on the underside for straight cutting. Their bags and boxes were very nice too. Basic bows were just as good as any place. I got 2 money cards for $1.00. Not exactly Hallmark but they just get thrown away anyway. Can't beat 50 cents a card. I really recommend them for wrapping needs.
It probably does. Naturally, when the tariffs are invoked ( maybe even before) the prices will go up. Mexico and Canada both did so, but Mexico changed her mind and said they wouldn't. I take all political promises with a grain of salt LOL As for Canada, he's already threatened that the cost of building supplies that they export to us will go up drastically. The problem that I see is that Brand A, which is imported from China now, costs $8 (used to cost $5). Brand B, which used to cost $6.50 and Brand C, from Mexico, which used to cost $7, now raise their prices to $8 also, eliminating any competition. NOTE : Yes, my numbers are off. I have a headache and don't feel like mathing😊 Danno has noticed already that some store brand items are more expensive than name brand.
Once President Trump' mentioned placing tariffs on Canada and Mexico, they want to work with Trump on trade. Learn about tariffs; they are not as frightening as one thinks
I never liked Family Dollar as the shelf price was the same or higher than a regular chain grocery store, especially with a sale. Dollar General is a last resort, if it is your only choice. Ordering online from Walmart might be a better option for many folks.
the original bitter sweet flavor of the old semi sweet chocolate chips for cookies is gone. I buy every brand so far and the bitter with the sweet and the hard texture of almost pure chocolate seems to be unfindable even nestle semi sweet are no longer the same. The blend is not the same for the chips.
I thought all chocolate was going up in price because the crop was bad for the 3rd year in a row. Lower yields higher prices kind of thing. I know I saw all the bags of candy go up about $1 a bag a week before Halloween.
😮 Whaat my hubby loves milk idk what he will do if that happens im lactose intolerant but I still eat dairy either way a supplement such as sour cream yogurt and I love baking 😢
All I have access to is Walmart and Harp's. Harp's sale items are higher priced than the Walmart regular price. I am in Bentonville, AR, the hope office for Walmart. We need a Kroger. There are only 26 stores in the state.
Dollar general has had really nice christmas ornaments for $1.00 each they look like hobby lobby ornaments. DG has really up'd their game on holiday decorations, for very cheap prices

Walmart lemons went from 0.67 to 0.50 each on a rollback, Taster's Choice 7oz is on rollback for about $2 cheaper. I'm sure there are more but we just got a few items.
It's still expensive, I was going to make 4 different type cookies for my husband's employees and then buy enough to make same for our family Christmas in Sarasota. Not counting buying flour, it would have been $50+ for approx 48 cookies per place. I chose to go with 2 different kinds instead. I don't think prices will stay lower, nothing seems to be pointing that way as far as I can see. I just saw Walmarts digital price stickers to be done by 2025, and they plan on having 50% robots in their distribution centers by 2026. Love Reeses, it's my fav lol. We go back on keto in January, I have rotated quite a bit of our stock the last 2 months.
I hit the jackpot at Meijers yesterday - found yankee candles all sizes like for $3.10, $2.09 & $1.30 😮 I missed the golf ball markdowns - they were all gone but prices were at $5.68 & I think $12.98 the tags were still there. Oh yeah & I saw Santa Clause - no kidding - guy walking around in red crocks, white hair & beard, red shirt & pants 🤔

I’m in Va and finding the best prices at my local Food Lion. I even buy my furbaby items from Food Lion.
When I lived in Charlotte, NC, I enjoyed shopping at Food Lion in my hood. Friendly staff, good sales, and fresh produce.
