- दिल्ली में जवाहर लाल नेहरू विश्वविद्यालय में पिछले दो हफ्तों से फीस बढ़ोतरी को लेकर छात्र संगठनों का प्रदर्शन जारी है. बीते कुछ दिनों में जेएनयू प्रशासन को इस मुद्दे भारी विरोध देखना पड़ा है. कल जेएनयू (कार्यकारी परिषद) ने आंशिक तौर पर वापस लिया फीस बढ़ोतरी का फैसला वापस लिया है लेकिन इसमें मुख्य तौर पर बढ़ाए गए सर्विस चार्ज के तौर पर 1700 रूपये अभी भी लगेगा. इसके विरोध में छात्र संगठनों का प्रदर्शन जारी है. इस मुद्दे पर द वायर के अविचल दुबे ने JNU के छात्रों से बातचीत की है.

Was a student from lower middle class ....my fathers mother had cancer staying with us ND getting treated ,, being in a metro everybody from village came to our place when they wanted higher education, hospital treatment etc, fathers younger brothers studied eng ND my father paid their expenses ND took care of his 2 children no fees waiver, v never stood on streets to talk about our parents condition, 1 pair of uniform, 1pair of shoes were managed for 4 straight years, yet we never complained, today jnu ND entire students come across as bunch of losers... I wonder y the govt is tolerating these rowdys.... Makes me sick in the stomach

I was coming from poor background. I have completed Diploma from government with nominal fees 2500 per semester which was also reimbursed from KC Mahindra education trust. But After Diploma, I wanted to have Degree, And in Government ,There is no chance due to high marit, Thus decided to go in private, where I have to pay 25000rs per semester as which is impossible for my parents. So I went to Sbi for education loan and they rejected due to blogs in some semester, So Me and my dad did not lose hope and went to BOI, and Got a loan, after graduation, I had to pay 150000 within 7 years. Which I paid within year. My point is, If you want study, and you believe in yourself then the fees charges , education expenses is issue, but willing is there no body stops you from education.
