Hey Drew you should consider using the "Cheat Mods Combined" mod to edit the starting conditions more. You can do loads of cool stuff with it, like add resources to countries, add building slots, and even increase base population (Not just manpower). It could allow you more freedom in creating alternative history (Like what if Australia had 50 million people and a lot of resources) and might be very helpful for you.

Ive been watching you since two years or so and Ive really enjoyed the variety of your video topics!
But in the end I *still* prefered the older videos of you, where you did a whole series of videos on one game (What if Germany won WWI, WWI from 1914-1918 and your WW2 soviet gameplays). Those are just great vids, since the tides always turned and made the whole concept interesting. Also, the video length was great and there werent many cliffhangers.

Even if Ireland isn't militarily powerful by itself, if they align with a faction hostile to the Allies then their land becomes a forward base for Britain's enemy right in its usual safe zone. I would consider Irish neutrality or co-operation to be important for a UK playthrough. We saw that here. Once Ireland chose the Axis, Britain's defensive sphere was fatally broken.
