Hi Andy that looked a lovely winters walk with frost/ ice in parts. So nice going through the woods/ trees and you had some lovely views all around. Liked the music too 👍~ Anna
Thank you, Anna. I hope you both had a nice Christmas break. 🎄 Yes, I enjoy a wintery walk, I realised this Saturday though, the earlier the better to get more frosty scenes. 🧊 It was a very enjoyable walk. It was just a shame I didn't spot any deer as it's usually a deer hotspot. Thank you for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed the video, All the best, Andy 👍
Hi Peter, Thank you for watching, I thought the same about no evidence of the Colliery. A nice crisp Winters morning, nice firm muddy ground to walk on. Enjoyed this one, soon warmed up, even though I did not want to get out of the warm car once I arrived. Thank you for watching. All the best, Andy 👍
Many thanks for sharing this video andy, we really enjoyed this one especially the drone footage at the beginning. We very often walk the same area as we are only down the road in great wyrley. Im very surprised you didn't see any red deer on your walk as this area is highly populated with them. Great to see you out and about on your local walks and we look forward to your next adventure. Keep up the fantastic work 👍
Thank you so much. I was suprised I did not see any. I walked this circular with the kids about 5 years ago or probably longer, and just as we left the park and crossed the little bridge (Where there was a stream, I'm sure) and headed into the woods I stepped on a branch which made a loud snap and I had not realised there were 10 or more deer really close to us that ran away, a few moments later another large heard were on the opposite side. I work in nearby and drive across the Five Ways roundabout regularly and often see deer around just after the Cemetery. Thank you for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. All the best, Andy 👍

In the bleak mid-winter ! Like the drone shots, not much trace of Cannock Chase Colliery even though it only closed in 1962.
All the best, Peter.
