I never use swords to fight when I have dogs, only axes.
It might be inefficient but at least with an axe you wont do a sweep attack and hit your dogs

Rules: You burn durning the day (because of this the data pack should have you spawn during the night), you can’t eat foods like crops or bread only meat, you can heal when you hit mobs with your fist (very little but still effective), you can temporarily turn into a bat for a small amount of time, you can eat rotten flesh and raw chicken, and last but not least: you have incredible strength and speed because of vampiric abilities, I think this would be interesting and it would be easier in the nether and the end because there is no sun to worry about!

Alternative idea: Dream is an iron golem. His goal is to protect you and he can be healed with iron Ingots but this may be too easy of a task so you could maybe have an additional challenge like a hunter
Iron golems are so slow though! The video would be really long.

Im surprised they didn’t use an axe as a weapon. Dream kept getting hit from the swords sweeping edge effect but the axe doesn’t have that.

Axe health goes down much faster at the cost of more damage
Degan channel, 2 durability on axe hit, check the wiki (or use an axe to hit something).
The damage on axes is lower than a sword at higher tiers, but earlier on axes do much better damage proportionally. Of course, against multiple enemies a sword will always be better. This makes axes good underwater, where swords don’t cleave
