I think your review would have more credibility if images were in focus and exposed right. I have been using Leica cameras, both film and digital for 20 years and have never heard anyone else complain about the colours each produces - in fact the opposite.
My 2 Cents - if you are considering to buy a new Leica, as in, you are new to Leica, M11 is a clear and obvious choice. If you are already a M10 owner, simple, don’t do it. If you have to ask, you probably don’t need it. Is the upgrade worth it? Probably. But imagine if this upgrade tempts you, what will happen when M12 comes out? Tiring isn’t it? Wait a generation. M240 users can most probably justify the upgrade, regardless whether the camera is broken or not. The same logic applies to all camera brands too.
I bought new old stock M10-P last month and there is nothing wrong with that camera in this day and age. My Q2 is already eating so much storage on my drives and cloud….having a 24mpix camera is a relief.
As a pro photographer I was thinking to change from M10 to M11, and it was hard to find clear data and opinion about these two cameras... Thx for this video :)
Thanks for sharing. The best information on the M11 I've ever seen or read. I was wondering if it's worth it upgrading my... M262. The answer was "no" with the M10. But I must admit that after hearing your thoroughly well argued presentation, the M11 deserves to be considered seriously.
A store that is trying to increase sales of the Leica M11. Next time, please hire a photographer and bring some propper photos to support your narrative; what you show is poorly exposed and out of focus. Also, to do those types of "snapshots", honestly, you don't need a Leica.
If you've spent tens of thousands of dollars on Leica and they tell you what you have isn't good enough, maybe you've been played. True also with Canon and Nikon etc. Pick a damn camera, a couple of lenses, a bag, then go out and get on with it. My newest camera is 15 years old. I love it. My oldest cameras are from 1957. I love them. Screw the new stuff. You're not that good.
You can drive a 20 year old car and be happy with it. Great. You can prefer to use a more, recent, confortable and less polluting one. Great too. Everyone has to make their own choices. And nobody holds the truth. Each choice has its advantages and disadvantages. Enjoy your gear. That's the only thing that matters.
I am bit surprised to hear about colour. Rather I have always been hearing about leica look, I guess it includes both colour and BW. I can't afford new leica, but was considering used one. Now, I am thinking whether I should remain with my nikon DSLR system.
You have an excuse, after all, this channel is from a store that needs to sell cameras anyway. But a bit more of common sense and (sorry to say) honesty, was a better choice. Also, will be a better comparison with the M10R, as it is not only about resolution. 60mp is also coming with a few caviats, first the need to shoot at higher shutter speeds to avoid the blur and second, 60mp has also a lower DLA, due the size of the pixels, and these two factors together, are not matching with the traditional playground for M camera, the street photography. Reducing to 36mp or 18mp, it seems that is not avoiding the issues, after all the pixel size doesn´t change, they are just put together (pixel binning). Regarding colours.. well, I must say that the M240 and the M10R have beautiful colours, and amazing auto WB, superior to any camera, (even the M240). On the other side, it seems the M11 has huge problems with the magenta cast, as reported by many other channels.
Actually, Deon has multiple Leica cameras of his own including an M10 and Q2 and our team are extremely well versed in Leica products. some of our staff have shot on the old school G.O.A.T Leica M6 35mm film camera. Whilst D might be a salesman, he is an extreme fan of Leica especially the M system.

Yeah, the images look retarded
how can you compare with two different optics. I have both and the 35mm1.4 is very contrasty...

I think image comparison should be done both cameras with same lens

Great comparison. I especially liked the JPG comparison
Where did the m10r go?

Now, that is a what we call a solid comparison / review. Simply wow :-)

M11 second hand or M10-R second hand would both be excellent choices. If you like the Rangefinder way of shooting then they can't be beat.
this man not Photograph, this man sales man.

You compared the M10 green cast on a different lens against the M11. Poor review.
Always looks really awkward when I see a left eyed person use an M
? What kind of comparison is this when you are using different lenses? Sheesh.
Lol what a shill .. terrible review and comparison
A sales man pretending to know what photography or leica is
