People keep talking about Ollie Gordon being one of the best RBs in CFB. He is averaging 3.5 ypc on the year. He had less ypc against Tulsa than he did against Arky. 17 carries for 41 yards.
You are the second person other than me that has caught on to that. Every “talking head” says we can’t win because the stopped Ollie G.
Also Hank Brown was playing on a very wet field,DJ has something different for sec teams, I believe he was experimenting that’s why 2nd half was so different

Some people are taking that OK state game and pointing it out but forget last week against UAB
Look ahead/let down spot. Similar to us losing to NMST and then taking Bama to the wire the next week. Also Trent Dilfer is a really good coach.
I believe we will rely on the running game, with screens and the short pass to protect our defense. Based on last year, I believe we can run on anyone.

I tell you, I’ve got a good feeling about tomorrow for our offense. I’m thinking Hank puts up 250 yards and 3 TD’s (counting on Cam being back), Hunter will get 120 yards and a TD, and I think one of the other backs will get a rushing TD as well. I think Hank will soften their defense up with his threat to put deep balls on a dime, and it seems like we’re getting back to run first which bodes well for Hunter who tends to be on of those “more you feed him, more he eats” kind of backs. Plus we have 3 high level RB talents. Doesn’t matter which one is in there, all 3 can hurt you.
People have been telling me all week that our defense will look entirely different as far as getting away from the lousy 3 man rush this week, and I hope to high hell that’s true. Don’t even know why he’s used that scheme AND then after seeing it sucked and didn’t work after week 1 that he kept on using it. Playing prevent defense for 60 minutes has never worked that I can remember. Hopefully our DBs have been getting it drilled in their head that they need to stay disciplined in their assignments and not just forget they’re supposed to be over the top in coverage and can’t just willy nilly go flying downhill biting on the play action fake.
No Justin. All games should be considered big games, or we show up like we did against New Mexico State last year and get the crap kicked out of us. RAT POISON!!
Dead on right brother. And I know recently our coaches have treated bowl games like practice scrimmages. Which is not something you can do when you’re trying to impress recruits, build your brand nationally to where you want to be and where it truly works in your favor, and to start being a talented and respected football program. I don’t know what the hell was wrong with Gus and Freeze last year to were they treat the bowl game as a throw away and don’t seem to care if they win or lose. Those extra 10 practices honestly and truly don’t give the guys or coaches that much of an edge for the following seasonal practices and looks, that you should just go wet noodle on the outcome. Winning actually matters every time you go out on the field.
Guess we’re headed back too Nashville or Bham again this yr only too hear wait till next yr again.

I like it. I like when everyone doubts the team. Our game 1 was probably the worst thing to happen to this team. We needed that Cal loss or we would have been a 5-7 team. I still think we can win 8 games this season.
Is it me or does hock always sound so damned depressed talking about football geez it’s a young team gonna be mistakes but he’s the only one sounds like it kills him talking about it

All of Auburn podcasts/modcast is just people whom just there to talk ,Auburn will beat Arkansas by 21 points,Arkansas qb is not going to beat auburn.
The tone around all of Auburn’s podcasters have been so negative. They all floated this 8-9 win total and now they have to eat it. Hugh Freeze seems very honest, no typical coach speak, about this team. We have young building blocks that I feel can break out on both sides of the ball. Malik Blocton, Kaleb Harris, 3 of the Freeze 4 and Hank Brown can ball. Hank makes the o line look much better because he’s a quick decision maker and spreads the ball around evenly. I can’t wait to watch the game to see these young guys grow into good ball players.
21 points? Arkansas is a solid team. They took OKST into 2OTs (a better team that Cal) and muffed a punt to lose. Auburn could very easily lose this game. Don’t be surprised when it’s close in the 4th quarter.
@@Hithereneighbor ok state is not that good since their main running back has been hurt ,check out ok state last game he only ran for 41 yards ,Arkansas is not a good team u will see tomorrow
