As long as the organizers do not set up VAR with the automatic offside line like it has in Europe, the referees will continue to allow this type of move, they only call offside when it is very clear, in a tight play where there is not much certainty, they usually let it go.

It takes time for a manager to build a team. Early on Portland were very poor. Evander was unmotivated. The right side attack was non existent. Little by little they are getting better. They are more balanced, they are threatening in attack and pretty solid in defense. The team is coming along better than I had hoped early in the season.
