if you really want to min/max you shouldn’t touch contracts unless you’re full and about to restock before playing again or level 50, you’re getting less coins until then.
I started yesterday morning and I'm level 23 from doing only the main quest and like 4 contracts at the observatory (starlight observatory?) but it wasn't a targeted approach on my part, the game basically took me by the hand and said "this way!" My only regret is now that I understand there is significantly more experience to gain from exploration quests that I wish I had paid more attention to them. I also knew contracts would at the very least be a nice supplement to main quests but decided on striking a balance oriented on proximity and efficiency to gather what I can within a reasonable time frame while moving forward and I didn't think fetch quests and extra conditions were the best way to speed things up. I did that because presumably as you get further into the game you will face more difficult tasks and that should earn more experience than the trash mobs you could sit and kill for hours, but I also didn't want to be too weak to progress when it was time to so I would do a short 5 minute monster mash every couple of quests on mosters with orange health bars because I assumed it meant they were a higher level than me but I don't know anything about levels, like when the next one might be because there isn't an experience bar 🤦♂️
The codex quests can be completed at anytime. I save them for when I do hit a level cap for the main quests, and just go back and complete those. And also, there is an experience bar, it’s at the bottom of your screen.
@@djodyssey99 I'm on console and there is at least an inch of my screen cut off all around so maybe it's in the cut off portion but there is no experience bar at the bottom of my screen, I really dislike how all the games I like seem to never let you make the game fit your screen.
@@tylerwarwick7975 Definitely cut off then, but that sounds like your resolution settings on your console are not set properly because I’m on Xbox and I don’t have that issue with ANY game.

You could be level 10 fighting another level 10 who has maxed out purple gear, then you would be complaining about the p2w aspect. Bruh, it literally takes 2-3 days to get to level 50. I work a full time job, 10 hour shifts, 5 days of the week, so don’t tell me you don’t have the time.

This video seems to be a bit too basic. You show the exploration content twice once via N and then say via the main meun also, which I guess is fine. Exploration missions actually give really crap XP they give you mostly material?
You need to do some exploration quests to unlock some main quests so they are worth doing anyway. And those materials you will need so again, worth doing.
