What a man Mr. Rothman is. This is why they call his, the greatest generation. Hard working, HONEST, & faithful people, full of integrity. It has been lost for many years. Blessings. 🇺🇲🙏🇮🇱❤🇬🇧

This survivor is such a good storyteller and has such a fascinating personal history, I would appreciate a much longer testimony. I want to know more!

The survivors have such inner strength. Even if I survived, I don't think I would be able to live a normal life.

This poor man, I just want to give him a hug. Such a big heart and had to weather an impossible childhood. I can’t imagine my 13 year old living alone! 😳

So much horror and sadness. The resilience and sustaining humanity of this wonderful man boggles my mind. I’d like to think I’d have his strength but I don’t imagine I would. And his heart still so kind and good. I love him. I wish I could have known him.

    Wow!
The interviewer just cut him off in the end!
She should never be allowed to interview anyone.
    Shame on her!
I wanted to hear more od what he had to say!

Loved this man and his recounting so many incredible facts of his life. However the interviewer was outrageous especially when she cuts him off and also cuts his story off abruptly. Just horrible! The story is NOT just about the holocaust years but the AFTERMATH shows the incredible resilience of many of the Survivors. You will never be able to fill in the end of his story as this callous interviewer decided evidently SHE HAD HAD ENOUGH.

Thank you sir Awesome history! God bless you! To me it’s a life of overcoming hardships by convicting yourself to your true Jewish beliefs on God that continues in Catholicism-the True Church Christ Himself left US!
-that You learned through your fathers discipline and true love!

Sad that he says he wanted to fight the Germans but then he refused to fight because he didn't get set up to be trained as a pilot. Being appointed to take or distribute reparations is nothing close to fighting. Love his work ethic but also saddened that he was only bothered by the jewish worker's union fighting because they were attacking other jews-not because one group was attacking other people.

I am sorry to say his father and likely Great Uncle were very abusive.
Being 5 minutes late and being beaten and being cursed on his Bat Mitzvah.
    No play time at all.
Maybe this was the custom of his family. And I can only compare it to Mom's family who loved her very much. And Mom had a great education and was learning alot. But she was treated with kindness.
