4gb still lag on android with ram management, wireless charger is not real wireless and Nokia was first. Waterproof iPhone can also survive in water but it's safe to do not that. 32gb storage I give u that. Sd meh.

I had an iPhone 6, sold it and eventually bought an S7 Edge about a month ago and have never regretted it. Verizon is a brand in the U.S. (provider). You can buy a phone from them with a data plan (idk, like 200 euro for the S7 edge + 2 years of 25 euro/month). They then ALSO add their logo on the phone AND add really stupid apps on the mobile that you literally can not remove and makes your phone slower. The only thing you can do is root the phone to remove them.
Verizon phones can only use verizon. Get an unlocked (international) phone.
I'm switching from my iPhone 5 to a galaxy s7 edge.

I find it rather hard if you have purchased any wireless device in a store, not to have seen the competitors demo model... I am not a fanboy for either company or software... Touchwiz is why I left it, it's still there in abundance. I hate it and I'm never going back. I wouldn't recommend the Samsung if you're still thinking about it.

Download a launcher dude. Samsung has removed the bloatware on the S7, but depending on which career you're getting it from. You might see some bloatware. Updates are a bit late but you at least have a phone that has more functionality than an iPhone.
Can someone please tell me how the standby time on the S7 edge is? Is it as good as the 6s plus? That's the only factor that's gonna decide which one I'm gonna get

Definitely envy the Galaxy's screen resolution, homescreen widgets, multitasking, waterproof, and expandable storage. Not so much that glass back or Android apps.
Love iOS and apps, aluminum build, having access to Apple and Google content, seamless communication with my other Apple products, the infinite amount of case offerings and accessories, and overall stability. Not so much the lower screen resolution, or lack of a Google widget.
So the video is right...it merely comes down preferences.
Widgets are present on iOS notifications bar just like edge widgets on s7. Edge feature is a gimmick. This was there on iOS since 2013. Samsung is just show this unnecessary to attract amateur nerds.

Because the priorities of someone looking to buy a cell phone is different from the priorities of someone who is a technology reviewer. The days of truly meaningful advancements in cell phone technology have been long gone, Apple just cherry picks what matters and leaves alone what doesn't. A curved screen is pretty meaningless in the grand scope of things
Yeah, I mean it's cool that the screen is curved.. but like.... why do you need that?
You really don't. I had an S6 edge plus and the only purpose it served was to look pretty. The downside was if you drop your phone on an uneven surface that doesn't catch both lips of the case equally, it hits all screen and it's toast. And it's easy to do accidental presses. The 6s plus is big and bulky, but it's way less prone to these accidental touches, and cases really protect it (well if you use them)

I'd say for the thing about the S7 Edge fingerprint magnet problem, can't people just get a clear protective case?
The international S7 Edge would have left her about 45% battery remaining at the end of the day (versus the slower american S7 Edge). International S7 Edge is also a lot faster than the slow American version, has much better RAM management (apps stay open, even if you open a few big games), and the battery lasts much longer (I get with my Exynos S7 Edge about 8 - 10 hours of screen on time over 2 full days, auto-brightness, 4G+ mostly (70% of time 4G+, 30% of time on WiFI), sync enabled).
When you use the phone indoors at ~20% brightness, expect to lose ~7-8% PER HOUR with continuous usage like playing candycrush/webbrowsing/facebook/chatting. I lost after 50 min candy crush at ~45% brightness 8% battery btw.
You guys act like the consumer here in America don't prefer the exenos version. Why rub our nose in our misfortune.?
You could easily get the exynos version off Amazon. Only con is that you'll be paying full price for the phone. It's worth it in my opinion.

International variants support LTE with GSM carriers only. The Exynos version of the S7 Edge supports nearly all LTE Bands.

Here's a tip, use an ipad charging block with your iphone cable. Boom, less than two hour charge time.

I stopped watching after the reviewer claimed the fingerprint sensor on the iPhone was "slow". Understand this is Android Authority, but the reviewer needs to be a bit more impartial. I have owned various Nexus phones and also iPhones. Each series of phones have pros and cons to them. No device is perfect.

As pretty keen Android user I can easily appreciate the greatness of both phones. However as my mobile usage matures I start to accept the fact that integrating software with hardware is absolutely beautifully done by Apple. The Geekbench interpretation in the video is absolutely incorrect, as the quality of the user experience is decided by single core performance in 90% of the cases, and this is the area which iPhone has always dominated. 10-core Android phones with multicore scores of 30% more than iPhone 6s' cannot outperform it by any means in real life. Also iPhones depreciate less as percentage, because 2-year old Android flagman is now worth a dime, while iPhones keep resell value. Also the goddamn operating system updates! The whole broken chain between Google, manufacturers, mobile carriers and users is so annoying that I dont even to talk about it in details. The fact is that we on Android are often deprived of prime software experience and latest generation security and usability features. Such a shame. Android is a great idea realized horribly. Two years from now and the Galaxy S7 will be forgotten and stuck with Android N at best, with resell value of $200, while iPhone 6s plus will have iOS 12 and will be solid performer. I'm really sad how the openness and customization abilities of Android are offset by its huge weaknesses.

Now Samsung may have better camera coloring, Apple has slo-mo camera and higher security. Samsung also overheats and gets really hot. Apple is also thinner which makes for easier storage space. And apps come out first for apple. I personally use Apple, but to each their own.

The iPhone is the larger and heavier of the two phones. Most adult male sized jean pockets are too small for the iPhone 6s plus to fit in comfortably. Modern cars come with slots on the dash for smart phones to be placed in, my 15 corolla can hold my s7 edge but the slits width would not accomodate the 6s plus. Though the iPhone is thinner which makes it take up like .3 mm less space when stacking it. So it could fit into my glove compartment which is filled with papers and cd cases. Lol.

Justin Bryan it can have both a 128gb model and expandable storage which is better than 32gb and expandable storage. Modular is preferential but it is very nice to have because you can keep the phone aluminum and have a removable battery

+ruben g I have the S7 Edge and I compared the slow motion capabilities to my uncles iPhone 6S and for me the S7 Edge had better video quality in slow motion 240fps. but s7 edge had some sort of frame skipping. I'm sure Samsung can fix this with a software update.
