The Twinning’s theme was already so good, I didn’t think a remix was necessary 😔 Or at least keep more of the original melody and not kill it with dubstep
I get that it might have been hard, with the original already being a mashup of two different themes, one of which is a reorchestration of a 30 year old theme But it didn't have to be this bad, half of it is just a completely different track glued together to samples from the original

It sounds better when I'm not watching the fight and I don't know why. I like electro swing. I like Thunder Rolls. I don't think they pair well together, honestly, but it's not TERRIBLE. still, not one of my favourite tracks from Pulse.
Ramuh is my favorite primal, and while I like the instrumental, these vocals absolutely do NOT go with it at all. It's like some kid's first epic TH-cam joke mashup. There are even instances in the beginning of the song where the vocals even seem a touch off beat from the instrumental.

I've watched multiple documentaries and listened to recordings so old they're barely audible, and you most definitely would not hear electro swing with tribal style vocals in a speakeasy. If you're talking about the swing in the syncopation of the singing, that's right, but that clearly wasn't their intent in this remix. The singing doesn't "swing" at all. They just put it over a garish electro swing beat and called it a day.
