That is how we do it in Brazil (called "Tinto" or "ink"), a splash of milk and you can finish 4 years of college in 3 weeks, do groutwork with a toothbrush in the bathroom at 3am. and experience photosynthesis...fyi, it really exists and is far more intense in real life)

My wife decided she wanted to try some of that coffee and bought a bag yesterday. I brewed some this morning using 8 tablespoons to one pot. Me, personally, I am not a coffee drinker, not for a long time after an incident I had with coffee back in 04. My wife has been drinking coffee almost every day since she was 12 (she's 34 now). She also challenges me to try it with her.
So, I make this pot. I get a large 32oz thermal cup out of the cupboard and fill it up. I don't think I will sleep for days. My wife then tells me that I am no longer allowed to drink this stuff again. I don't think I have shut my eyes to blink in about the last 3 hours.

@@tylerchambers6246 At 19, I mixed 6 different coffees together into a coffee suicide. I felt great for a half hour, but then spent the next 2 hours with violent diarrhea. It was like an exorcism from the pits of hell. I couldn't get off the toilet. By the time I was done, almost all the toilet paper was gone. I felt sorry for the next poor sap that had to go in after me.

@@LaplanetArts I don't think that's going to increase the Kathie because there are 2 ways to make coffee some people do make it finer grind because you lose some of the caffeine promised on the bag so therefore it's not that it's increase in the caffeine you're just getting its full potential that has promised to you how much is on the ingredients you could try freezing it like they do with some alcohols that's how they concentrate some alcohol I kid you not there is a beer out there that is 74 proof alcohol and its world strong as beer now I don't know if caffeine is the same that in the sense it doesn't freeze And it's worth a try but I don't think you made the Kathie any stronger to be honest you just got more out of it

The reason you grind it is to maximize the surface area by weight. Having more surface area allows for the water to move into the particle and then out of it more quickly than with bigger particles giving you more caffeine. Remembering that caffeine is water soluble, so it dissolves into the water as apposed to staying in the roasted bean when placed in water.
Devil mountain has at least twice the amount of caffeine of death wish.
Death wish boasts 650mg per 10 oz. Cup.
Devil mountain boasts 1550mg per 12 oz. Cup

After a certain point the water can't take on any more coffee, especially after the first brew. All the fresh grounds you poured your already brewed coffee through was like 95% waste. so I'd say that you're better off just making a very strong ratio of maybe 1tbsp grounds/1oz water.

Well it certainly gave me a boost. But my brain was tricked into wanting more because I drank such a tiny amount instead of a full cup.

Fun fact. If you take a ton of coffee grinds and boil them, you will achieve the same results with more coffee.

The stuff is crazy, 1555mg per 12 oz serving VS the 708mg Deathwish is advertising.
A lot of companies claim to be "the words strongest coffee", but Devil Mountain is the only one that means it.

I think you need to brew it with serrated water each time, then cook that down slowly into any amount really, maybe a cup? Gotta make it sweater for that though. But yeah, that would be fun, maybe I’ll try that.
I made the same mistake you're supposed to open it and that little black thing is the thing to keep it fresh the little thing you wrap-around the bag itself is both the open from the top but don't worry I got confused to

I use Folgers black silk, fill the filter all the way up and only brew like 3-4 cups, when I pour it, the foam is a brownish orange color that's how you know it's strong
invest in a cheapish espresso machine and pull similarly strengthed brew with half the coffee

Please answer im really curious. How many days were you awake after this ? And did your heart rate increase as soon as you drank it? and finally did you experience anxiety after ?
I only had that small serving,so it wasn't too bad. I was fairly wired and alert after as if a drank a large strong coffee instead of like... Those 2oz. I did sleep that night as it was a long day. As for heart rate I'm unsure.

I make my coffee from 5 heaping tablespoons of Folger's black silk ground coffee in my 4 cup drip coffee maker ( about gives me coffee maker a hernia ) 😀😀😀
coffee is supposed to be made with 2 tbsp/6oz(1 cup of coffee) water so you're actually about 3 scoops shy of proper ratio

That coffee is incredibly darkly roasted so it will have barley any caffeine anyway. From that coffee you will just get a very strong coffee flavour.
Lighter roasts do have more caffeine, but the difference isn't that great.
