- This video features a Mercedes-AMG GT S which has been fitted with a full custom straight pipe exhaust system. We saw the car during the 2018 Cars and Coffee Geneva and in Monaco. In this video you can see some very loud revs, accelerations and crackles. The car is owned by Instagrammer Tazzybaby.

Is there an exhaust system available that can switch between straight pipes and “comfort” mode, using the OEM exhaust button in the cabin?
I have heard of some systems that work with the oem button but i don't know if it is compatible with the amg gt

People need to understand what straight pipe means.
It means you remove all resonators, catalytic converters and mufflers and just run a straight pipe. This is a exhaust valve at best.

That is not a GTS with 510hp this is a normal GT, you can see it because of the brakes

DutchAutomotive no on the GT the brakes are grey and on the GTS the brakes are red
Scar a emblem is cheaper than the difference between GT and GTS

The SLS is awesome in any color but that wrap is a bit too far. I think it's way too tacky for such a masterpiece vehicle.

Mercedes spent millions fine tuning the exhaust on the GT and some welder thinks can do better working from a shed
Of course he can do better. Mercedes just submit to regulations about the noise levels.
@@theunknownman8909 not really mate. Mine is stock standard and my friend has a straight piped one. The quality of sound is way better from the factory exhaust than the straight pipes. Of course his louder but certainly not pleasant.
@@lankaat That's subjective, aftermarket exhausts almost always sound better in my experience. Stock is too restrictive, no two ways about it. Emission laws kill power and sound, that's their literal purpose.
