David Marr on the bloody history of the Frontier Wars | 7.30

The Frontier Wars were a dark period in Australia's colonial history - bloody, violent, and racist. David Marr was shocked to discover his ancestors fought with the Native Police - a violent military unit who patrolled the colonial frontier conducting raids and punitive attacks on Indigenous Australians.
He's now written a book about his own family's involvement and sat down with Laura Tingle in Sydney.
