wow it's amazing ? my question is do i need to primer'
cement basement floor
So amazing!!! I watched about ten videos so far...
Love watching you guys, so informative, you make the process look so easy..keep them vids coming! I watch them all..
We will, thanks for watching our videos Paula
WOW What a transformation. Beautiful
Love the look of the metallic floors. Such a simple peocess for application
It is a very simple process, thanks for watching the video.
Would you suggest this be done only on concrete base floors with or without existing flooring, or does the epoxy remain a bit flexible for floors with plywood base? I 'm wondering if it would crack or just give a bit, I would need to use for both type of applications if possible, if not I can do downstairs apartments like this and upstairs with laminate type flooring. Great video
They have a video on a plywood subfloor if this helps.
Awesome job, I love this. I want to try this in my kitchen
Thanks for watching Tricia! You should definitely give it a try!
Your work is so awesome. The only thing I didn't like was how it went from super glossy to a matt looking finish and I love the glossy. So is the scratch resistant sealer you put on only comes in a matt? What about those that love the high gloss and want the scratch resistance?
Question: How much height (approximate) does this add to the existing floor? Also, do you have a video where you've tried this on a traditional ceramic/grouted tile? I'm curious if you have to level the grout to the tile, or if the product will self level?
I'm interested in the answer to this question too
Love your flooring video
Was this a an asbestos tile floor? Those look like 9" tiles. Is that why they went over the existing tile?
They are 9x9 asbestos tile
We are purchasing a shed for my workshop and the floor is plywood. Would we be able to apply this product to the plywood? The shed will be mounted on blocks and the blocks will be arranged on a professionally poured cement pad. I’m worried about cracking a few years down the road. Adding…I found your video on the plywood subfloor. Thanks!
Can I overcoat all existing coatings no matter what they are, of course I will sand and clean properly...
I absolutely love your products, your videos and results are amazing. Can’t wait to purchase and use them.
PS: this all I’m watching lately! Over and over and over! Brings sheer joy and excitement to me. Must have caught a Leggari bug!
Been watching your stuff for the last couple years and love it. Im curious about that blue tape you use. Is it just blue painters tape? Wouldn’t that get stuck under the resin? Wondering how that is removed and I’d like to see how clean the edges of these projects are with the tape removed.
Thanks
Yes, it's painter's tape! We always recommend removing it before the epoxy is fully cured, otherwise you might have to cut it out...which isn't fun. awesome job. I'm thinking of covering my old ceramic floor tiles with epoxy
A great looking floor, you guys made it look easy! Thanks
Nice work guys
Very nice work and beautiful finish, can't wait to try this at home.
Thanks for the comment caveman 10
I want to take up my carpet to do this, but it's cement r wood floor underneath the carpet, tell me can I put this down on cement r wood floor?
This bordering on art, is there a knack to swirl it around like that to create the marble effect or does it just happen, i can imagine me doing it and it looking terrible!
You just swirl the highlights in with a nap roller, you can do small swirls at first and if you don't like it then do bigger swirls with the highlights. Thanks
how long did this job take out of interest?
It is a two day job. After the surface is prepped you apply the primer and epoxy the first day then come back the next day and apply the top coat. Thanks
@@LeggariProducts what do charge these people by the metre?
We do not do installs, our contractors set their own price. Typically the cost per sq ft for flooring including shipping and a top coat comes out to $2.25-2.75 per ft. For domestic US customers. This is just the typical cost for the product alone. Thanks
I see a new basement floor in my future! Thanks guys💞
Thank you guys!! I'm learning a lot
Our pleasure!
Could this be done over traditional ceramic and grout tile
I know when I try my first attempt to do flooring like that, I’m using your products
Got my sample kit on it way. This stuff looks awesome.
Is this the bar where you guys did a mongo size countertop? I managed to get the first countertop I did to look very much like this floor. This stuff is pretty awesome to work with and it's not too difficult to get a great finished look.
I love this look. It’s beautiful.
I can't stop watching you guys! Can I know the best suggestion for the thickness of the base coat in this strategy please?
Wanna try this so bad for my mom. Poor thing she dont have too much cash, want to bless her soon. I shared for free kit
What sort of grit do you add that doesn’t take away the gloss?
Wow. Such an amazing product! You make it look so simple. Would love to do this in our new house!
How is the epoxy coating cleaned and/or maintained? My husband does a lot of car repairs at home - would the product be ruined with vehicle fluids? Any difference with using the products with flakes?
Our products are actually industrial coating made for military aircraft hangers, etc. So theoretically in a residential, or even commercial setting it will last forever. This is NOT a cheap epoxy paint that you will commonly find at box stores like Home Depot or sherwin Williams. It is a thick 100% solids epoxy coating. The surface cleans right up. There is no difference other than the look. Thanks
Leggari Products awesome! Thanks for the response.
Woow..awesome!..there's just some parts that looks like a repetition..like tile patterns..but overall it's beautiful!so how many hours the drying time?
The product will be solid within a day but it takes a full seven days to cure. Thanks
thanks for the Info!is it slippery when dry?or scratch free?
You guys rock! This is just simply breathtaking! It looks as if it is easy as hell! why do a tile floor or a laminate floor when you could have something as beautiful as this and it take half the time to lay it!
Thanks for watching the video.
Can u make video what precautions should we mind to clean such floor
CONCRETE PREP FOR A JOB
Shop blasting and diamond grinding are the two best ways for preping concrete. But they require expensive machines and vacuums that you can get at most equipment rental stores. The next best step is to acid etch the concrete, if you can’t do any of these you want to clean the floor with an auto scrubber from a rental store or mop it really good and then we require our prep replacement primer if you are just going to mop or scrub the floor. Thanks
Massive project. Very impressed.
Thanks Keith, take a look at our brochure.

I have ceramic tiled floor, can I use this same process?? thanks
I want too know
This is so awesome!! I’m gonna do this in my basement!!
Hola hermoso lo que haces , sos un genio.. hago una pegunta . Cuando mezclas el color negro con el blanco, usas un rodillo de puas o un rodillo epoxico? Gracias
Thank you. I will and you do the same.
About how many hours did this job take from start, including prep work, to finish?
How much will it cost me to get all the equipment?
Can’t wait to do this. Thanks for all the information.
You're welcome, thanks for watching the video
I was looking for a video showing you doing a Calcutta or Carrera marble look with the 2-3in light grey veining. Instead of the swirling effect, could I just roll over it to take the sharpness out in straight lines to give it the Calcutta look? Or is it another technique? Also does your primer base coat color matter when doing the floor?
Beautiful! After painting and doing marine repairs for years, I see this as a possible new income with way less work. Would love to sample this to see for myself if it is a possible new career change.
Hi, take a look at our online brochure and sample kit links. Thanks

Ive watched a few of your videos and never seen you explain when to take the tape off! I would imagine you cant wait for the product to cure? Maybe you could show that in one of your videos. Thanks
From other videos I have seen on this topic the tape is removed after its set for a few hours. Wait long enough for it to start to get tacky so that you don't lose your straight lines.
Tape high and pull the tape the next day is what we do. Thanks
It is amazing to see this process! This is awesome!
It looks easy to apply over large areas. It would have been great to see how it's applied and the tools you use in tight corners in the bathroom and around the toliet(s).
You can go to our website at leggari.com and under the floor sections we have tutorial videos that explain the whole step by step process. Thanks

I am from Philippines want to know how it can work
I have tile in my basement that's missing some. Whay do you fill it in with and then prep the floor before applying the floor? I love these tutorials and want to do my floor and counters.
You can patch any cracks or seams with Bondo multi purpose putty from Home Depot to level the floor out than sand or diamond grind the floor to prep it. Thanks
@@LeggariProducts Thank YOU!
Great Video, I cant wait to try it!
You should! Thanks for watching!
Love the look but its got to be deadly slippery when wet. ask me how I know.
As a Special FX person I’ve worked with epoxy resin along with a ton of different materials to make props and prosthetic masks etc... this is awesome! I’d love to use this on my counter tops and tile floor in two bathrooms. I would also love to use this on a electric guitar. Can you get a mirror chrome effect ???
How do you fill in the grout lines on a normal 12” tile floor?
Yes it can be put over tile, but you need to fill all your grout seams with multi purpose bondo from Home Depot, then sand it smooth, this will scuff up your tiles also, then wipe it clean with denatured alcohol then you are ready to apply our epoxy. Take a look at the tutorial below. Thanks

Hi ,how long does it last, can you make a video after 5 years or more project (done in the past ) how its look now
This is amazing! What is the ratio of the white base to the black highlights?
Depends on the look you want. The black can go a long way so if you don't want a lot of black than you are going to use less, you can always add more as you go along to achieve the look you want. Thanks
great idea, I have seen homes for sale with 2 and 3 different colors of ceramic floor tile in the house and this would be a fix without ripping everything out
Hi, take a look at our online brochure. Thanks

look Fabulous. but my question is what about durability of the coating.
Our products are actually industrial coating made for military aircraft hangers, etc. So theoretically in a residential, or even commercial setting it will last forever. GOOD JOB BROTHER!!!
Gorgeous work
Thanks Mary for the wonderful comment
Next project house the leggari epoxy floor system is going in. Love thefinish
I love you guys work. Just awesome
Thanks for the comment and for watching the video.
After the paint primer is rolled on, you just start applying the epoxy?
Pretty much! The primer needs to be partially dry and a little tacky and that is the perfect time to start applying the epoxy👍
I believe that the primer coat is water based. What is the settling time of your products? Looks like the pot life is more than an hour. right?
Our primer is a water based epoxy specifically designed to chemically bond to almost all smooth surfaces. You have 45-60 minutes to work with the epoxy. Thanks
Hello
it’s very pretty, I have a question I have the impression that when you pass the finishing layer its removes the shiny side I have the plan to make my floor in the future there is a way to keep the shiny side instead of having a matte side?
Great question! We do have a WB Urethane gloss finish (that adds a bit of an orange peel texture) but it is glodd. Watch this video to see all our top coat options! th-cam.com/video/XrcdGUCeTvw/w-d-xo.html

Hi, take a look at our online brochure. Thanks

Do you have to put a top coat or could you stop after the first epoxy coat?
You don't have to put a top coat on but we do recommend it because it will make the surface more durable.
This was a beautiful floor. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching the video
Two questions.
1. Marble doesn’t come in sections that big; how would you make lines to make it look like it is slabs of marble? 1x1 masonite sheets? Epoxy some ceramic tile and thin set the tile with very thin grout lines?
2. In my new house could I just put it over the new OSB subfloor?
It really doesn't matter. I have had beautiful pieces of art (at parties) that stupid people thought were frigg'n ashtrays. I say Go for It!
Awesome product guys..You do a great job!!!
Thanks for watching and commenting on the video
Very good job guys. Excellent technique ...can you this over vinyl plank flooring?
Yes you can do it over any hard surface. Thanks
How much does this material cost per sqm meter?pls send prices and cost per gallon/pail and area coverage thanks ahead!

Do you have to Denature when doing floors or just when doing worktops and what not?
We recommend using denatured with any epoxy project to help pop micro bubbles for a glass-smooth finish✨
When you enter the room with wet feet; how slippery are these surfaces?
The epoxy is just like walking on tile. Thanks
That was awesome....I am in the process of remodeling our house and I was trying to decide if I wanted hardwood or epoxy floors.. Ive decided I want epoxy.. Especially with pets.. Any advice before I do it would be appreciated. Curious though how much it will cost to do a 1500 sq ft home with 2 maybe 3 colors?
You can actually order or price out a custom kit for that exact square footage through the Floors section of our website at www.leggari.com. Simply click on Floors >>>> Order Floor Kit Here, then follow the steps.

Amazing job
is this product available in india???
How long after do you pull away all your prep work and taped off areas? Is it till the floor completely drys or little after you put the final scratch resistant coat?? Just wondering how hard it’ll be to pull off the tapes and if it’ll leave any marks or cracks after the floors are finish.
You want to make sure you tape about 1/8 inch high so the tape does not get trapped under the epoxy. We pull the tape the next day. The epoxy will be solid within a day but takes a full seven days to cure.
I would love to try this on an existing tile kitchen, is that a possibility?
Yes it is!
hello do I need to remove the existing tiles or no problem to put over it the epoxy resin?
Yes it can be put over tile, but you need to fill all your grout seams with multi purpose bondo from Home Depot, then sand it smooth, this will scuff up your tiles also, then wipe it clean with denatured alcohol then you are ready to apply our epoxy. Take a look at the tutorial below. Thanks
