My family's favorite way to have pork chops is pork chop pizzaiola. I bread the chops with seasoned bread crumbs and partially fry them, then put them in the oven until done. I remove them from the oven, place a slice of either mozzarella or provolone cheese on top and serve topped with marinara sauce and a side of pasta. It's my daughter's go to "birthday" dinner.
I have to tell you I made your pork chops last night and they were delicious! So flavorful. Appreciate your recipes. You have given me several that we love.😊
My favorite pork chops: First, I don’t use the really thick ones. For me, they always come out dry and chewy - I never like the texture of them. I use the thinner ones with the bone in. Put them in a skillet on the stove top. They can be slightly overlapping. Give them a good sprinkling of Tony’s Creole Seasoning. Add onion powder and garlic powder if you like. Put enough Worcestershire and teriyaki to cover the bottom of the pan. Cover with a pretty tight fitting lid and cook on low. Water will cook out of the chops, then evaporate and/or absorb back into the chops. They take about an hour to cook. Keep an eye on them and turn them over every now and then. These have an amazing flavor and are never dry. They fall off the bone. You can start with partially frozen pork chops, but they take longer to cook.
Happy 2024, sweet friend. I can always count on you to share meals I can accommodate to our diet. Can't wait to add these to our list of meals to make.
@debbiekocol8731 yes, they do. I added them to my list of meals to make. It's going okay. He didn't get good news on his appeal for his shoulder. Workman's comp denied it yet again. They just don't want to pay for it. The doctor said we could either get a lawyer to get them off their butts or see if his regular insurance will pay for it, which they won't.
I’ve never really thought about this but any meat you cook is better if it’s room temp. My son never grills his steaks on the grill unless they’re very close to room temp. When you mentioned this about cooking your pork chops I thought about what my son told me when we grilled steaks for Christmas meal. And thank you for reminding me about using a brine. It truly is a game changer especially for pork chops and chicken breasts. Would shrimp be good to use with the ground chicken honey sriracha recipe? And you nailed it when you said these recipes are not short on flavor! Especially the Mediterranean recipe! I love all those flavors. I used to think that I had no idea how to cook healthy bc my Mama taught me how to cook and we ate soul food! All meat was fried. Very good food but no thoughts on being healthy. Gumbos, I mean come on. I’m from Louisiana! Thank you so much for reminding me about great flavor healTHIER food.
My favorite brine for pork chops consist of vinegar, water, dried minced onion, soy sauce, minced garlic, ginger, and fresh parsley. I don't measure anything, I go by the smell of it.
I like searing chops then wrap them in foil packets with sliced potatoes and broccoli with zesty Italian salad dressing stays so moist sometimes I top with shreaded cheese at serving time. But I am gonna try brine next time for sure
Happy New Year Amber 🎉I’m going to make the Fresca Chicken I have a container of mango salsa I think will be good on chicken and I have pepper jack to grate.
I plan on making the Salsa Fresca Chicken and the Pork Chops in the Brine. I make Pork Chops all kinds of ways in the crock pot, air fryer or oven. Trying them in the brine looks delicious. I just made the Ricotta Meatballs tonight for dinner. Omg they were so delicious. Thank you for all the great recipes
I am with you, Amber, Feta makes those Mediterranean dishes so delicious. I love that flavor profile the most!! I cannot imagine leaving it out. I will add some pepperonchini peppers to my sheet pan. 😋

That sounds amazing!
Kinda like a veal Parm. I like that.
Sounds delicious! Do you dip the pork chop in anything before the bread crumbs, or just go straight to the breadcrumbs? TIA

I'm just curious. You said you use the shredded carrots every day. What do you use them in?
Great question! I make a raw carrot salad. It helps with hormone balance!

Are you concerned that you are making this on aluminum foil? I keep hearing that chemicals leach into the food if you use aluminum foil?
Honestly, I'm not 100% sure. I don't love it, but we also just ran out, so I don't know if I will buy it again either.
@@FeedingtheByrds Thanks. We get so much contradicting information it’s hard to know for sure sometimes.

Where is your salsa recipe? There is a pico de gallo recipe but not your specific recipe?
