John ws such an amazing man, sharing his story, his Vulnerability, his trauma and the victory of his life. That was his calling. To come down and help to heal others with his profound work. But he could only do this if he went through his traumatic childhood. I thank him and many others xxx 🙏🏽💕

I greately needed this hilarious refresher course by John Bradshaw, He can always make me laugh when I am getting way too serious about what I call, "The crap of life." He brought back many past & present memories.
    1. I had just shared w/someone I greatly love & admire, about the various ways people received healing for their ears. Then I recalled what happened to Pres. Trump's right ear.
    2. This morning I awoke hearing the word "worry." John shared the various ways people catastrisize.
    3. Another funny incident happened while I was sitting down. A little boy suddenly started beating on my chest like a drum. (I couldn't stop laughing!) All the others in the room were horrified. The boy's mother came running over to where I was sitting, pulling him away from me by his ear. I then heard some really funny lyrics, after this incident, while opening my car door, from a Dire Straits CD, called "Brothers in Arms," They were from the 2nd cut, called "Money for Nothing," "Banging on the bongos like a chimpanze. Hey, that ain't working."
    4. I had a real jackass of a boss many years ago. This unmentionable actually made bets w/most of the other guys in the firm, who could get me in the sack the quickest! Two of the guys fought for my honor. They really let him have it. This _____ even tried to hold back my unemployment to no avail. A few days later, he just happened to drive parallel past the crosswalk where I was waiting to drive across. It was so tempting, not to run this ______ over. It was a good thing I didn't. I would have been the only one sent to the slammer, not him!
    5. A really nice, blues guitarest asked me if I would like to travel w/him, playing music on the road. (He wanted to make me a star.) He wanted to make up a resume w/ glossy pictures of us. (Occasionally I like certain types of upbeat jazz, not crying in your beer jazz. He had some really serious charactor flaws that would never win us any favor. (We're all known by the company we keep.) When I asked my Creator about this I got a very telling answer. "You don't have to be a star baby to be in my show," by Marilyn Macoo. 😂
    6. You're so right about all of our dysfunctions causing various kinds of addictions. I surely needed to hear this again. Sometimes, we even switch addictions, whatever brings us the most comfort at the time.

I was blessed to have met and traveled with this beautiful human being who walked through and not around his childhood and began the journey of learning who 'he' was. I turn to him today to be reminded to trust in my inner child and be grateful. I am grateful he left us with his writing and wisdom and miss him.

Nailed it. He nailed so much of the difficulties and solutions to childhood trauma. I only am finding this after my healing journey, but it's very validating to hear someone else talk about the methods.

I think more so today?...Inner child was never known when I was a child...I was givin anti depressants from the age of 16...I was not depressed..I had been sexual abused as a child!...I suffer today with CPTSD...Trained therapist and had a narcissisitic relationship...From the aftermath of that abuse I learnt that my Mother/Elder Brother/Twin Brothers Wife...ALL Narcissisit....Hence CPTSD...and not in practise!...Peter Gerlach / Gabor Mate / Sam Vakin .....Peter Walker Book...."From Surviving to Thriving"...Exellent book on Narcissisim!..
This awesome guy made me cry....AWESOME!...

What people need to learn is. We all have the ability to help ourselves thru emtional problems. But we all don't have the confidence or know how to access the inner ability.

I now know why I kept hearing some lyrics from the song, " We are the Champions" by Queen. The lyrics affirm being & vocalizing from the real self, rather than stuffing what one really thinks & feels, playing an ungenuine role.

I have accessed my inner child by working as a puppeteer and by role playing children.

He would be the first to say even with all this great work on healing this inner child. That he went to this grave with a deep hurt and loss that was hard wired broken. Just like all our lives.
That have deep trauma from childhood. I don't kid my self that I can put down all my shame and other demons.

If and when we follow others. We leave ourselves behind.
I personally don't believe in any religion. Because I am the only one in my life that can affect change.

    Is what he means is?
The insident was so painful for me that she may as well have drove me to the freeway and told me to go play there. Short story shorter, I wrote the whole painful scene, but this time was different. As I
wondered if that man was a guardian angel Who saved me, Ive been healed of that particular pain for years now.
