    Hello Sir, at first a lot of thanks for your amazing tutorials, I've almost done dice tutorial and learnt a lot of different things which I didn't know before. I just wondering. I'm still using Autostudio 2023, will that be the big problem later on? I wish you hadn't jumped into the new version 😄🙏🙏

      Thank you! As for the alias 2023 version, - you should not worry about that. Except a few bells and whistles (like UI overhaul), alias is still alias, and all the major features are decade old. thus, you can follow lessons on my channel or any other with confidence. And when you decide to update - just download it from official website, educational license (learning edition) is free

      @@AGGraphics Ok Sir thanks for the statemennt. Btw do you have any plan for modelling of any car in Alias. To show us what are your methods to model a car. To be honest though I have knowledge how create surfaces I'm afraid of to start modelling a car. How can I overcome this fear 😅🙏

      @@borazeytunlu963 I have no plans to model cars step-by-step for now, fundamentals must come first. And I can't tell you how to overcome your concerns but can suggest you check Soochan Lee's channel - 3d design academy ( www.youtube.com/@3DDesignAcademy ). He is from automotive and make car modeling tutorials. From my point of view, - pretty professional ones.

    Big thanks for your videos ! Do you work in the automotive industry ? For what do you use Alias ?

    • @AGGraphics
      @AGGraphics  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You are very welcome! I am a concept designer and a cad sculptor for consumer electronics. Phones, laptops, headphones, remotes, keyboards and so on and so forth. I never worked in automotive and probably never will be: is a closed community for a lucky few in US, China, Germany, Korea, Japan and France. Everybody else plays outside)

      @@AGGraphics Very interesting ! I am a "jack of all trade" kind of creator, but regarding 3D modeling I started with polygonal years ago and now in love with CAD (Fusion and OnShape) but for few years I'm impressed and intersted by surface modeling in Alias but beside some quick test I didn't did anything with it. But would love to learn it more seriously and really use it.
      Are you freelance or work inhouse for a product design agency ? Finding a way to use Alias but not in the automotive indusry is cool btw ^^ (even if I'm french I don't think I will be able to work in this field one day, seems gatekeeped ^^)

    • @AGGraphics
      @AGGraphics  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Indeed. A gatekeep is a good word for it. Good attitude though, keep on keeping on!
      I am both: Inhouse and a contractor. That is a nature of the projects: you go in for half a year, you did your job, you bail out. That is the only way if you are working for foreign companies (not in the domestic market). And as for Alias, it is widespread in consumer electronics. Xiaomi, Apple, Samsung, Cisco, JBL, Sony, Wacom and many others working with Alias or it rivals, - ICEM or NX. Sometimes even gun manufacturers, like Smith&Wesson or Ruger. And studios make their decision based on the budget: if you do not have enough income, - alias or NX will be too expensive + you need something for a B-side like CATIA, and you forced to switch for more generalized CAS modeling systems like Rhino or Solidworks. They are great tools too, but not designed to build a-class. Rhino has grasshopper built in though. We use it instead of Autodesk's Dynamo. So, you mix and match anyway.

      @@AGGraphics thanks for all the explaination. I could see myself diving more into Alias (in addition to Fusion or Onshape) and get clients missions in which I only have to 3D model stuff ^^ but even if I keep learning Alias I have no idea where to start get works in these kind of fields ^^
      Anyway, you make the best Alias video I found so far and I am binge watching them ^^ thanks

    Really Great tutorial for all beginners to get started! very helpful! btw, i found rectangle width and height attrubutes dispeared on the information window panel in 2025 version. i don't know it is a bug in the new version?

    • @AGGraphics

      Glad it helped! As for the rectangle attributes, - mine are present in 2025.0, but title is missing. So yeah, I assume it is a bug

      they are ALL full of bugs, let's face it. But new UI is objectively better, so I see no reason to switch back
