6 was the amount of numbers in the data set, we had 3.5, 3.5, 1.5, 1.5, 5.5, and 1.5 so 6 numbers if u add those 6 numbers up u get 17 and divide that by 6, idk if you know how to find average but its almost the same formula! :D
Im actually in the 6th grade math level with some other students but im only in 5th grade thanks to this guy i was struggling in the beginning of the year but now cause if him im doing really well😊
I'm so grateful that you are making these videos thank you so much. Is there any way you could make a video about the outlier and how it affects the data
yo, in class the teacher/the book said that we needed to subtract the number of points by 1 and divide 17 (or whatever number you get when you add the deviations) by that number, is he correct?
Bro explain the calculations the mean absolute deviation (MAD) is a measure of how spread out data points are from the mean. To calculate it, first find the mean (average) of the data set by adding all the values and dividing by the number of values. Then, find the absolute deviation of each data point by subtracting the mean from each data point and taking the absolute value of the result (ignoring negative signs). Finally, calculate the mean of these absolute deviations by summing them up and dividing by the total number of data points. The result is the MAD, which shows the average distance of the data points from the mean.
