The L series is a nice machine, very comfortable and will pull a huge bundle of wood. I put about 200 hours on a brand new 848l testing it out before the company I work for decided to buy it.
Agreed on operator looks like the first time on that 948l, but that is a big machine I've seen that skidder at that factory up close its a work horse just like the 848l they are really close same big planetary axles but all in all great machines Deere has really stepped it up.
Reminds me oF when I was working with another dude that was green and took him 10 hours to move the tops while I pimped 2 turns and ended up dropping the one I had coming in to the landing while grabbing his and mine bY the tops in 15 seconded

I'd change the exhaust pipe (muffler) and reroute it over the top,way that it is,comes out at door or aim out the right side,just my observations

+PA diecast construction yeah looks identical to the 555d we have a 55d and a 948l and completly the same thing just diffrent paint job
