It did get plenty of airplay; maybe it was too sophisticated to break into a wider audience which is a shame since it's a perfectly melodic pop song with great hooks.

Thanks for posting the lyrics to this great song of the 80s that sounds more like the 60s. I love it! That trumpet solo was unexpected and beautiful! This song was the best part of the Olson Twins in NYC movie. That was also surprising and delightful. A real serendipity in the middle of a movie nobody saw but me. Apparently.
