Yes, Amber, it was nice to be a child in the 70s and a teenager in the 80s, no internet, no mobile phone, no X-box and we were out and about in the afternoon without our parents knowing where we were and we still came home healthy and everyone has Listening to the music he liked and then going to the children's disco on Saturdays had a great time.
And yes, as someone here said, Susi comes from Detroit in the USA, but she became a star in England and Europe where she now lives with her German husband in equal parts in England and in Hamburg. And she's still got it even at over 70

She was a small woman, she couldn't beat up the average guy. However fighting a girl is always a lose/lose situation, if you lose, you lost to a woman, if you win you beat up a woman lol. I think Alice meant she's tenacious and doesn't back down so it's a bad situation for the guy.

When Suzie first toured Australia in 1974 she was met at the Airport in Sydney by hundreds of Bikers. They gave her a motor cycle escort from the airport to her hotel in the city. When one reporter asked one of the bikers why they had done this, his answer was simple. He said "All Bikers Love Rock n Roll and Suzi Play's Great Rock n Roll.

Because of her fame she used to enter the store through the loading bay where I would sometimes be where I was loading or unloading my lorry with furniture. Took her hand and pulled her up onto the loading bay a couple of times. Even delivered to her a few times. She lived on the outskirts of the next town where I lived. Lovely lady.

Her last UK #1 hit. So of course by the time I got to Germany in 1978 it was on the cheap jukeboxes in GI dive bars along with Stumbin In by her, I Believe in Miracles from Hot Chocolate and other older stuff were steady fare at my regular watering hole

I remember the string of UK hits she had in the early 70s - Can the Can, 48 Crash, Daytona Demon and then Devil Gate Drive. Good times.

I love how she brings in the super hot 60s/70s London fashion label Biba artwork into the video - never saw that before!

I last saw Suzi & her band live in the mid 90's, at the Kings Lynn festival, in Norfolk UK, when she was probably in her mid to late 50's, & she absolutely smashed it!!
The fact that my shaved head had earlier been painted like a leopard kind of made sense, I think!! 🤣🤣🤣
    (Official festival face painter......obvs!)

I love Suzi Quatro. Had the pleasure of seeing her a few years ago and she's still got it, and she did a solo on drums 🥁. She smashed it. And still going strong today. ❤

I saw Suzi just down on the Gold Coast (Brisbane, Aust) just before Covid hit. She was in her 70's, and still looks like a knock out, and still kicked arse. And she played an awesome bass solo, and let me tell you, she can slap!
She was very much Rock'n'roll, and the guitarist, Len Tucky was her husband. A lot of her earlier songs were written by Mike Chapman and Nicky Chin. Oh, and she is also a brilliant piano player.

Love the music you choose. Your comments are brilliant. Our local village hall held dances 50 years ago. The village was call Diddlebury. I thought this song was about the place that the locals called the ‘Diddlebury Dive’.

Don't miss her if she comes near you. She's still touring the world so you have a chance to be there in person. When you're old you can say ''I was there!'' when you play this music for your grandchildren. 😀
