    I love this. I have not tried ponche de creme because the raw eggs freeky me out. I will try the pumpkin version. I tried to make it once but it did not occur to me to add all those spices. Good job Mr Creamy

      I made ponch de creme many times & I've never gotten sick. And I HATE eggs for breakfast for eg. I gave the drink to many ppl & they were OK .....don't be afraid of the eggs. If it makes u feel better, prepare the mixture on the stove.

      You can temper the eggs on the stove, strain, add milk mixture then alcohol lastly.

      Regular rum is usually less than around 40% alcohol by volume or 40% "proof". Over proof rum has a higher alcohol %, up to around 80%. Usually a cheaper clear rum used as a base for cocktails etc

    Oh I just came across this wow!!!! Fantastic. I have a question can I use almond milk in steak of evaporated milk? Also no condensed milk was used in the pumkin...do I then use sugar?

      Yes you can use almond milk. Condensed milk was in fact used for both flavors.

      I’ve heard oat and cashew milk are better substitutes than almond as it mixes smoother with the rum.

    Michelle by the savannah shared a spouse recipe but didn't indicate that she loads up her souse with msg/vetsin that can give someone a heart attack.If you try to follow the recipe she gave you'd wonder why it doesn't taste the same. To me that taste of so much msg is horrible.

      @seygra20 Yes love, I know it's not about souse. I should have been clearer. I was really responding to a comment that talked about not giving out your recipe , lest you lose business. Most people, however, when sharing their recipes, withhold at least one ingredient and share mainly the basics. I then alluded to Michelle. Who knows, then? Maybe/maybe not, he's keeping an ingredient as his secret that would give his product that extra punch.
