The skeleton whip is from the flying cobras Kong killed in GVK...has matching vertebrae
Skar king is probably controlling shimo because he (skar king) is holding shimo's son. It's like a "do what I tell you or else your child gets it" kind of a thing. That's also probably why they made shimo a female. That's probably when godzilla takes over and becomes a father figure to shimo's child. Next movie is something like "son of godzilla."
So excited for this move one of the most anticipated films of this years for me its gonna be amazing.
I saw a theory online that Shimo froze Ghidora and that's why that titan was frozen in ice. What do you think?

I am 55 and never thought I would live to see these movies done properly. I still loved the old guys in rubber suits movies when I was a kid. Godzilla reigns! 🤣💪🇨🇦
I'm 61 and thought the same thing. Though watching the original movies on TV back in the 60s and 70s was great. And back then if your local TV station ran a week of movies every M-F we always prayed for Monster Week to hurry up and run. Then all of us excited talking about it on the school bus the next day was a given.

I’m 53 and I love Godzilla and kong! The original godzilla vs Kong was my favorite Godzilla movie. Now probably Godzilla king of the monsters. If it were me i’d make a crossover Godzilla and Kong movie with Marvel or Sony! I collected the Marvel Godzilla comics lol!

Godzilla is the strongest and powerful . 3 head dragon titan is the most and one enemies of Godzilla and yet Kong and other monster are fear it because its powerful and have strong power, only Godzilla use his radiation power that melt everything closer to him kill it. Luckily he shouldn't use it because of human life and environment. Godzilla doesn't fear to any monster, only he fear that humanity will perish if he doesn't fight.

The spine whip ScarKing uses as the primary weapon is probably the spine of a Warbat. I watched a size comparison video of Monsterverse just to make a list of possible titans whose spine is as long and as flexible as that, and Warbat seems like the only and easily the right option.
We all have seen Warbat in the last Monsterverse movie, Godzilla vs Kong. (When Kong visits hollow earth first time in the movie and kills a warbat, and eats its brain while the green blood flows as the humans watch from vehicles.)

The cover art for the movie poster is really good. It has Kong and Godzilla standing back to back with their arms folded. Godzilla is looking whimsical, with a wry smile, and Kong is rolling his eyes, as if to say, 'this guy'. The tag line is, 'one titan like to play by the rule book, the other like to eat it'.

I don't think Shimo is evil, I think that she is just being controlled by Skar King and is misunderstood....
Mothra is dead. She did not survive King of the Monsters, but in the credits there is a newspaper clipping that they found a giant egg, perhaps of Mothra. Mothra has always been a character about death and rebirth through the next generation. So I imagine that is what is happening here. Godzilla's pink power is going to come from crystals and the energy they put off. That is that giant chrysalis cocoon that you see him sleeping in. How he got there I don't have a clue.

I watched the Godzilla movies in the 60's/70's. Watched a few others, not sure where i stopped. Now I want to see them all again and the ones I missed. Thank you for the break down you have returned my interest in the movies again.
The original King Kong vs Godzilla where they get him drunk on berry juice and he bites power lines to get an energy boost is the funniest movie. “My corns always hurt when they’re near a monster!”

Godzilla looks skinnier as seen from the new, unreleased Hiya toy and the recent clip with Kong riding him. I don’t know how to feel about this Godzilla design. It’s weird because I kept saying he’s way too fat. Thick neck, thick thighs (which is a staple of his), but then his smaller head made him look fatter than how he really is in 2019/2021.
Now that he’s thinner, I’m not sure if I like it? Perhaps they made him a little too thin. I figure they made him slimmer so he can run faster. But he now looks less threatening now that he lost some of his bulk. I’m not feeling either of Godzilla or Kong’s designs in this movie. I still prefer 2019/2021 Godzilla and 2021 Kong more.
Kong looks older like he’s a viking/Kratos (2018/2022). While I’m not feeling Godzilla being that much slimmer and all that pink stuff on him like he visited the set of Barbie last year. I do like the color pink but not on Godzilla. They’re trying to feminize my Big G and I’m not buying. Minus One G looks much better to me. This doesn’t mean I won’t enjoy the movie. I just don’t like the G24 design.
I really can’t wait to see Shimo once I see the movie. She looks to be under wraps until we finally see the movie. She might end up being my favorite kaiju design in this movie. But my personal favorite might be Kong again or maybe Skar King. The apes have the skill factor in their fights with their long arms, hands, and feet. They can throw crap at each other. It’s like two humans fighting. While the dinosaur kaijus have the beams, tails, and the brute force.
I slightly prefer Godzilla over Kong overall but it seems I tend to prefer Kong more in GvK and perhaps in GxK again. I don’t know what Legendary is doing to my Godzilla. He looks a little worse to me. Make him pink and slimmer to cater to females. Godzilla and Kong looked more macho when they were fighting each other. I still predict Godzilla will be the big hero at the end after he defeats Shimo. Return the favor to Kong for saving his life in GvK.
Oh well, I’m good with my Hiya G21 and Art Spirits K21 figures. Now I need figures for the baddies. Shimo and Tiamat might have the most beautiful designs in all of MonsterVerse.

1. I think that Gia and her powers are supposed to be the grounded Legendary version of the pixies from the Toho movies. So, even though most of her story and communication has been with Kong, maybe she can also communicate with Mothra in some way and she helps awaken her
2. I think Kong’s gauntlet is Legendary’s way of finally giving homage to Kong’s lightning abilities from the original Godzilla vs King King

Thank you for posting this. After the first few times, that I saw the trailer and I was ready to see this, and now can’t wait to see this in the theaters. The last Godzilla movies have awesome, (I haven’t seen Godzilla Minus One yet, I heard from friends who are seen it and they liked it). I have re watched the last few Godzilla films and they rock. A huge fan of Godzilla saw and watched all of earlier Godzilla films and spin offs (Mothra, Roman stand alone films)
Shimo doesnt look like a bad guy maybe at the end they will unite to defeat something else!

I ALWAYS liked the 'ol Godzilla movies, where they have people interpreting what the monsters are saying lol
I think Godzilla and Kong will finally make peace with one another during this movie. They’re both so much alike:
1. Both are (supposedly) the last of their kind
2. Both have a vendetta against their natural enemies (For Kong, it’s the Skullcrawlers and the Kraken, and for Godzilla, it’s the MUTOs and Ghidorah) who have killed the rest of their species
3. Both are portrayed as morally-neutral apex predators who maintain order and have no personal quarrel with humans
4. Both Titans have directly confronted humans in a bid to stop them from bringing back the great threat they vanquished; whereas Kong attacked Preston Packard and his crew to prevent them from further using seismic bomb charges knowing it will attract Skullcrawlers back to Skull Island, Godzilla laid waste upon Apex Cybernetics' facilities because the company defiled Ghidorah's surviving remains in order to create MechaGodzilla.

Mothra laid an egg before she died. It was in one of the news articles being shown in the Godzilla King of the Monsters movie ending scenes… this Mothra should be the one from that egg. Article says “Monarch finds massive egg and subtitle says … 2nd Mothra”?
Scar King’s eyes from the 1st teaser trailer glows the same way as Shimo’s in the 1st trailer teasing Shimo. Maybe mind control or a symbiotic relationship similar with how Mothra and Godzilla are? Remember Mothra “saved” Godzilla from Ghidora. They have a symbiotic relationship. Maybe that’s how Shimo is with Scar King?

Every time I see this trailer, I wonder if the features of Kong's illuminated face at 2:25 (as Kong is using the battle axe to repel the ray/fire stuff) were snuck in as a subtle homage to the giant animatronic Kong from the 1976 King Kong movie. To me it looks so similar to the one second or so of screen time that the robot received in the '76 film. Maybe I'm just imagining this, though.

I had a idea for Kong-Godzilla vs Atlantis. The residents of Atlantis are totaly human but instead of developing technology they followed biology, they have titans similar to a mashup of aquatic life mainly cephlopods, like Octopuses. They contain neurons thru out their bodies and they evolved right along humans as to that humans are able to pilot them and they have a 'cockpit' that humans are able to interface with them thru a direct link of their nervous systems, the human essentially becomes a brain inside them.
Im guessing its either the frost breath that damages Kongs hand or Skar King cuts smth off...

The Skar Kings whip looks like it has one of Shimo’s crystal like spines attached to it, maybe it’s a way of controlling her and using her powers the way Kong uses the power of his axe when charged by Godzilla

Mothra's like a phoenix....she usually dies in every movie through a key moment of sacrifice....then we see an egg at the end....in the next movie we get that egg either in larval form or after it has grown to adulthood.

Well there was this one time when I was watching some new scenes for GXK and I heard the roar and lightning sound effects for King Ghidorah so then me either me he comes back in another robot form or that means he’s regenerated as your body or something like that I just really hope he comes back in the new movie he is my favorite titan
