Brilliant. This has always been one of my favorite RB solos, specially the final solo... so melodic it makes you cry. Not to mention the impressive technique.
That's pretty much perfect, note for note! I think the Perfect Strangers album was perhaps Ritchie's best playing in years. I loved that he was playing in some keys he hadn't that much before. Great job!
Never thought it's possible to actually play this solo note for note as it sounds so random and improvised. But this video will make it a lot easier for me to figure parts of it out. Thanks for sharing your incredible skills!
blackmore would be proud of this, absolutely amazing. Serious amount of talent here folks. one of my favorite guitar solos off all time and you absolutely nailed it!
Absolutely amazing. I never had realized how beautiful the second solo is until i saw this video. Not even the man himself can play this as beautifully as you do. Congratulations
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. I CANT BELIEVE THIS HAS BEEN ON YT SINCE 2012, HERE IT IS 2020 & I FINALLY STUMBLE UPON IT!! LOOKS LIKE I HAVE MY WORK CUT OUT FOR ME, PERFECT WAY TO PASS TIME DURING QUARANTINE. GREAT WORK MAN!! (any chance you might be able to do the Universe a Favor & break this down into smaller sections & add a bit of Instruction for us MERE MORTALS??
I remember being almost 13 when this came out, and lifting/lowering the cartridge repetitively trying to figure it all out. Very nicely done, man. I'm 45 now and will return to my 3rd copy of Perfect Stranglers. Thanks for sharing.
Yeesssssssss ! Super idée de reprendre ce titre du MKII bis. Je suis toujours scotché de voir avec quelle décontraction tu gères les covers de Ritchie. C’est tout simplement parfait Flo ! Thumbs up. Passe de bonnes fêtes. Jean_luc
Great song & wonderful solo's. Considering we'd had to wait a decade to hear RB play with DP again, he didn't disappoint with the Perfect Strangers album. Wish he'd continued to push the envelope on the next couple of CD's, but alas... Anyway, you capture his solo's here (& on your other vids) perfectly. You have a very calm & exact style to your playing. Congrats & very well done :)
What are you using for a slide? Almost perfect solo. Liked the wrap up at :53 I think this solo needs a good bit of tremolo/whammy action as I remember? Dive bombs etc...?
That's fcking awesome, man! first time I saw someone playing note for note these marvelous solo, both of my all time favorites, congrats! I love the fast runs and sweeping arpeggios in the first solo, and the last one is certainly one of the most soulful solos of all time. Only a few can compare to this last one, maybe STH by Jimmy Page or C. Numb, by David Gilmour. Well Done!! (Only one critic: I wish you had put more distortion, to sound more like Ritchie).
Spectacular !! Bravo !! As a guitarist for 30 years, I've been waiting forever for some1 to emulate these solos. I've only seen 2 others come fairly close. Richie or none of them could ever do it. To me this is one of the best top 5 2/part solos ever created . The others solos being > Maggot Brain (The Funks) , Princes of the Dawn (Accept), Tokyo Nights (Krokus) & Over & Over (Black Sabbath). With talent like that , can you cover any of those ?
ok,dont need to tell your how good that was, cause iam not deaf.blackmoore is my fav and you nail him.you are one of the best ive heard, what amp are you using?check out my deep purple solos, not as good as you...."your new under study, gus"
Good Job ! Now could you teach Blackmore & Morse those riffs because if you watch every vid on here they play a solo from a totally diff tune . They cant do it & never could do it. Kudos to you for learning it . I know it took you awhile . Its one of the best solos to a song ever made !!
I never believed anyone (including Richie Blackmore himself), could actually play that lead break. Your tone is equally impressive. What are you using on this for tone?
+gary morrison Thank you. Glad you like it. I used a Marshall MG15 DFX amp, a Zoom G2 and a 62 reissue strat crafted in Japan with stock pickups. Cheers
Let me ask you and I hope you respond cause ever since the album came out I was floored by these showing off as much as possible solos from this album. Is this the work of a genius or is it just over the top giberish
Great video, I have just starting learning this solo but at this moment it seems to be impossible...how long did it take you to learn? And do you have any tabs? Thanks a lot
Really nice job on a solo that to me (not being a guitar player ) but huge Ritchie fan and drummer sounds incredibly hard mostly due to it not really making much seance but a few fast weird runs it just sounds hard to me mainly cause it's all over the place. Am I right I wish someone would answer me cause I'm really curious if I know what I'm taking about or not
Amazing intersection of hard work and God Given talent.... "I don't use tabs, i only play by ear." Extremely Impressive that you only play by ear and don't use tabs... If you ever decide to post a pay per view lesson where you break this down in parts, I would pay $....
I'm not sure if its allowed to post another video's hyperlink here so i'll just state the channel. .... i found a tab for the solo at the World Music Tablature channel. I posted a thumbs up and subscribed to Flo's channel. Amazing talent

Thank you for your comment. I'm happy it's helping you learn the solo ♫♪♫
RedLabelNights couldn't agree more, amazing job!!
This is one of my favorite guitar solos of all time. You played it well. It is not an easy one to pull off.
Me too!
Sweet. Ritchie does some very fine playing in this. Well done
blackmore would be proud of this, absolutely amazing. Serious amount of talent here folks. one of my favorite guitar solos off all time and you absolutely nailed it!

Flawless technique - well done!
Congratulations! This is really awesome, to me Ritchie is one of the best of all times, and you really got his expression on guitar...
This solo is visceral. I love it!
Thank you for having touched it.

Great, I am amazed. I am trying to learn myself these solos for a cover version with my band but I will not come any near to this... :-(
Great video, I have just starting learning this solo but at this moment it seems to be impossible...how long did it take you to learn? And do you have any tabs? Thanks a lot

NICE!! Even Blackmore never recreated it live.
Nice job, man! Thanks for the video! Please, do you know where I can download the scores or tabs for that solo? Thank you one more time!
I don't use tabs, i only play by ear. Thanks for your comment. Glad you like it ! Cheers

Je m'en lasserai jamais de t'écouter à quand une nouvelle vidéo?
Richie Blackmore Guitar God
I noticed that too. He'd just put on more theatrics and rub the guitar strings on the mic stand. Honestly? I don't think he could do it live.
awesome job dude, slow it down and teach it
plays like blackmore. Sounds like Johnson.
I can play a lot of Ritchie Blackmore's solos, but this one no😥😥
=O

Blackmore alive .. Perfect
Please,you must do a lesson.

Not perfect, but better than anything I could find of Richie Blackmore playing this live.
once, just once I'd like to see Blackmore NOT improvise a solo.Especially this one.The cover was breathtaking.
agreed
@@LarryjSarasotaRitchie improvised this solo when he recorded it.
wtf :)
