Love your content on our country. Glad you took Cairo in with all its good and bad sides. Metropolitan cities are busy and harsh, try going to coastal and historical places if you wanna soak in the best parts of Egypt. Overall, great content my brother. Hope to see you in Egypt again!
Good video!! Appreciate this video; I'm traveling to Cairo soon...this was helpful to get me in the right head-space. Definitely looking forward to the experience.
Wow!!! Every observation you made was on point!!! I was there mid July for two weeks. Yeah, their hustle games are crazy!!! The street thugs in NYC ain't got nothing on them. I'm a native New Yorker so that's saying something. The traffic reminded me of Rome on steroids. I love each and every historical site I visited from the pyramids to Luxor, the museum, temples, and Nubian village. Highlight of my life was geeking out over the ancient Egyptian history our Egyptologist tour guide shared with us. Thank you so much sharing these 7 tips. You have a witness! 😂
@SLY- I agree with several of the points made in this video. Egypt, though, reminded me of Mumbai - the chaos, the lack of laws for driving and walking, and the fact that Cairo made busy streets in New York City appear like a playground for children. I have never witnessed such orchestrated CHAOS on the streets, and I can only pray for their salvation. Yes, HUSTLING was a diversion for me. Everyone there is a con artist; even my advised tour guide drove me to locations where he was compensated for bringing tourists. EVERYONE does it and for me, Mohammed, my recommended tour guide escorted me to spots away from the rush and bustle of the city. TOURIST DESTINATIONS - Yes, there are what I refer to as "Traditional tourist destinations" to visit; if you seek sun, sand, and sea, there are locations outside of Cairo. You can visit enormous saltwater wells and float like a feather. I traveled to Cairo specifically to view the Pyramids. This was on my bucket list, and they lived up to my expectations. I also desired my name to be engraved in hieroglyphs on a pendant, which I had created. In addition, I desired to witness the belly dance and smell that unique scent about which I had heard so much. So my five days were just what I desired. But you are correct. When you visit a place, you should do it for a specific purpose and not with preconceived notions of what it would be like. 5 days was sufficient for me. Lastly, I found the people to be gorgeous and hospitable, albeit untrustworthy as a visitor, but my tour guide made me feel protected. I appreciate your sincerity. I eagerly anticipate your next stop!
All what you said is true except that history is the major attraction in Egypt, actually more tourists visit our beaches than our historic monuments Egypt is the Maldives for Europeans especially Russians and Germans
You can go to cairo to visit pyramids only and then go to other city For example sharm elsheikh you can go there and do diving and (safari) in the desert between mountine Sharm el sheikh is a clean city and not crowded like cairo
This is better than indonesia..so much begging...yet its cleaner than indonesia..love the food..the tourist viewing...river nile..belly dancing..u can choose resort chalets which i stayed..Awesome..food Heaven on earth..wat else can i say Anyways different pple hv different viewpoints..
Just came back. Visited Cairo and Luxor. Was not as bad as I thought. Was with my husband and a very unhelpful guide, who always managed to walk very far ahead of us at all the tourist traps, in Ku Luxor.
Amazing video! So much INTERESTING info I forgot to take notes! Flies of every species harass we mammals. I was standing near Lake Chabot (minus the water thanks to the drought) and these tiny flies kept attacking me and trying to crawl into my nose. I think they are tiny bees that live in the ground.
I'm. In Egypt right now and it's horrible 😢 I don't want to leave my hotel. Cairo has garbage and feces all over the street. People being very pushy and insisting on tips. I was in a restaurant and they bullied me into a tip. Pretty much yelling at me. They also treat animals like trash. Horses, camels and other animals are not treated in a humane environment at all. It's really sad.
also low and middle-class Egyptians are in desperate need of money because of the inflation so it would be better to go to the higher class restaurants
I’m gonna be honest man, from what I have seen from yours and so many other videos, I really do not have much interest in visiting Egypt.. I just watched BEFRS recent video “Why I Will Never Return to Egypt” and it was shocking to say the least. The place looks miserable. Sure the historical sites look really cool. But the cities look like shit holes full of scammers, hustlers, rude people, traffic and chaos. There are so many other more beautiful places in the world to visit where you will guaranteed have a wonderful time. Europe and Asia are the most awesome parts of the world to travel in for me.
Disagree Europe is pretty boring to visit. No culture except of Rom and Greece. No real exciting places. Asia I can just talk about India and China. Yes, interesting for sure but also no need to travel there again. Yes you are right and all videos are right on stupids hustler in Egypt and sure this is a good reason not to travel there. But the street live nothing compared liked this what I saw. So exciting lots to discover each part of cairo is different. Not talking about the tourist sellers talking about the usual Egyptian people they are Lovely people and having good sense of Humor.
@@soundso9144 Bro that is a ridiculous comment. Europe has so much culture and history, it’s kind of overwhelming. You can literally drive one hour and you are in a completely different country with a different language, different cuisine, different customs, etc. There are so many hidden places to visit in Europe as well that most tourists do not even go to. One of my favorite parts of the world I’ve ever traveled in is the Balkans. Europe is legit incredible.. And as for Asia, India and China or not even the half of it.. What about Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, etc? Some mind blowing places to visit.
@@SoloTravelerOffTheBeatenPath 🤣🤣 I am European sorry. For me is Europe nothing special. Do you want to tell me that France has cultural maybe for an US man yes.
Man, if you want buildings kept in good shape and the same habits of the west just stick with the European and American countries with all its boring repetitive things
Amazing work filming in totally different cultures. Can't wait to see your next destination!

The flies are so true. I am currently in Egypt. Everyone go to SHARM El Sheikh! My God that place is amazing!!
Good video!! Appreciate this video; I'm traveling to Cairo soon...this was helpful to get me in the right head-space. Definitely looking forward to the experience.
My 4th grade teacher went there and brought back photos and stories that have captivated my mind ever since.
You have such a nice way with words Ryan
The intro about the flies had me rollin 🤣
Love your attitude and perspective. Good shit Sly.

Egypt is the Maldives for Europeans especially Russians and Germans
Not all what he had mentioned is true
It is his opinion
And in the end Egypt is very beautiful everywhere and anytime
yes the red sea is famous for sealife and snorkeling which is why majority of Europeans go to egypt
Just found your channel man! This is amazing 🤩 thank you for sharing your journey I will be definitely tuning in. Definitely want to travel to Egypt!!
I really enjoyed your video on our country and I subscribed❤🇪🇬
I wonder where you are going to next super excited for the next video to Come !!

@@munerahmohamed2846 maybe because I spent most of my time in Bali at resorts. I didn't experience that.

Hello. I'm last minute. Does Egypt require any vaccinations for entry?
No

i suggest going to hurghada
but what you're saying is true because of Egypt's poverty the people are not really educated but Egyptians overall are very friendly

Only 7 ?
No one’s swimming?
Cuz you forgot to show us the belly dancer’s watching your Egypt videos it’s like they are no honeys there just a observation
I don’t think there are that many honeys, it’s a Muslim country after all. Probably in the resorts.
You exaggerating about the flies .
