I've now MAXED OUT both snipers in XDEFIANT & I never realized until now how much faster that M44 really is... Do you think snipers are overpowered in this game?

I will say of note, against the Phantom faction the heavy barrel will NOT make it a one shot kill to the upper chest like it is by default against all of the other classes. The default damage to the upper chest is 112 and with the Heavy Barrel it only goes up to 118. *NOT* 120 which would be required against the Phantom faction to still one shot them outside of the neck or head. Just something I wanted to note after testing it in the firing range.
That explains the occasional hit marker I’ve been getting lol , still be dropping 50+ kills a match though , game is too easy
True, another huge issue in general is the arm hitbox is too big, so if they even slightly move when you're aiming at the chest, there's a good chance you'll end up hitting arm & getting a hitmarker

@@FaZeKitty If you combine with Cleaner passive that gives you 2 extra burn dmg per second, it's enough for the chest of Phantom and basically one shot
If you play cleaner, does it even matter than if you have the heavy or light barrel?

try using cleaner it makes the m44 hit oneshot bodyshot to phantoms and also u hit less hitmarkers to others

Finally just got both snipers gold too, SO much fun to snipe in this game. One shots could be a little less forgiving and flinch could be a little higher, feels a bit too easy

I started using the M44 first and was getting hitmarker after hitmarker. After switching to the heavy barrel it is actually quite consistent now. I really enjoy the speed over the TAC.
Nothing worse than facing a team of Phantoms with 120hp though...

yeah i'll use it for tomorrow. I think the game feels better on controller tbh, but kb&m (especially sniping) is definitely still doable.
@@FaZeKitty i think the aim assist in this game makes sniping better on controller for sure. the snipers just don't feel that fluid in general compared to say, csgo or cod

Haven't touched a COD game since 2019 and sniping here feels so natural it makes me feel like snipers are OP but maybe it's just SBMM. It's so good it almost feels wrong. Hope they don't patch it.

I learned to use the tac 50, but the m44 feels like a COD sniper with how quick it is.
For non quickscoping and for defense the tac 50 is better, for what I like doing, quickscoping and 1v1 the m44 is wayyyy better.

On 60 ping i found this gun an absolutely terrible experience. So many hitmarkers i guess im aiming at their upper centre but the lag means i hit arms if their moving. So frustrating.
What is that setting where it shows your kill streak in the top right? Or is that how it is by default and I just having noticed til seeing this video? 😂
