I feel this is such a healing music. When the tone reaches its climax, it gives a feeling of things getting better after a storm. Life stabilizing itself after a big traumatic event. I dont know how to explain it exactly but feels wonderful!

Mr Wood, I will never forget the night that I attended a Kenny G"s concert. He started playing his wonderful music, but I could not see where he was at. Suddenly the light of a reflector showed us the great Kenny G. Surprisingly, he was playing his magical sax sitting in one of the rows of the auditorium, very close to where I was sitting. So I left my seat and I stood next to him. It was fantastic.
It's hallucinating the way he transmits ideas and feelings through notes... aarrrt !!!

What I remember is that this song was used as underscore for a scene in The Shadow (1994). Anyone else?
Yeah, but when you type in Kenny G The Shadow, nothing comes up, I literally just remembered this piece and searched for it, was hard to find.
The funny thing is-the style of sax (genre) in the jazz club scene that this tune is played in the movie was out of context for the time. The movie was set in the 1930s/40s -this style of music wouldn’t have hit for another 50 years.

@@jaredmatthewsmith7121 My parents used to play contemporary jazz a lot in the early '90s, and I used to watch a lot of AMC (back when it was basically TCM). So, even at 8-years-old I could tell that this song was a little too modern for a 1930s dance club. It really stuck out to me.
