I was not expecting that thumbnail for a Gab video especially for Stardew but I absolutely love it
Tips for the dehydrator. It is excellent for effectively taking regular quality fruit and mushies and making them gold value plus a little extra. So great for:
1. Fruit tree fruits that normally take years to get gold quality.
2. Shrooms of course. No other way to process them.
3. Multi-haul fruits like cranberries. You take some of the reg quality and process them to get a little extra profit then just sell the rest.
I really like it as a new addition. Its only 1 day processing as well. Though dont bother if the input produce is gold or higher quality. Hope that helps anyone out there.
I dont think its supposed to compete with pigs and kegs for end game grind. Its just a lovely way to get a little more efficiency with low turn around times.

I just came across a video that analysis the religion in stardew and the video covered a few things about George that made my head spin. George will tell the farmer at some point that he is atheist, however, u can find george in the chapel every sunday. There is a letter from Alex's mom that mentions she is with Yoba now. I have a feeling george is still atheist, but he goes to the chapel every sunday to talk to his daughter who believed she was going to be with yoba. And knowing george, he never talks about himself, just Evelyn, Alex, and probably the new farmer thats always stiring up trouble
I'm always super impressed with the fact that Gab can spot the panning opportunities. I can never see them - here or in my own game.

I'm in year 9 and I still haven't gone to Ginger Island nor have I finished the skull mines, but then again I just recently got my crab ring! (I married Elliott in year two and I had children with him, so I've been busy!)😅
I was waiting for the next part to be uploaded after the farm planning. I saw the thumbnail and without bothering to read the title I *skipped over it!*

I thought that the bushes that shake when you chop them can be chopped down but the ones that don't move can't. At least, that's how I remember it on my forest farm

If you move Greenhouse up one, the horizontal path can go all the way across straight! Also, if oak trees go up one, the next horizontal path can go up too, to maximize space!

The Oblivion memes always make me smile! That was the first game I ever got for myself and it has such a special place in my heart.
I wonder what if anything would happen if you gave Lewis the lucky purple shorts as a gift. I don't know that anything would happen differently, but it sounds amusing.
I think it might automatically give him the shorts when you go to talk to him if they're in the inventory, that's what happens normally. But maybe it does give you the option to gift them? 😂

Sunglasses in winter may seem odd to some. But living in Canada we are aware that far enough North snow blindness becomes a thing. The light reflected off that much white can literally burn your eyeballs. So really it seems totally practical to me lol.
If you ever need lots of hardwood try this: Grow Mahogany Trees in the quarry area and put tree fertilizer on them. Chop them down every so often and you get lots of wood and seeds. Keep repeating this over and over. The quarry is so easy to get to and to keep them organized. You will have so much hardwood in no time. You just need plenty of fiber and stone for the tree fertilizer.

To get MORE THAN ENOUGH hardwood in early game start a hardwood tree farm 5 × 5 ( or more ) and use the tree speed grow. Gets you a lot of hardwood to complete Willie's quest and plenty leftover for hardwood fencing and farm buildings ( im on year 6 and still have hardwood leftover. You can also tap them for sap and they produce so much that it becomes extra gold due to there being so much you can sell for extra profit.
I do a 5x5 of each tree type and tap them and save the seeds for later so when I have my farm layout how I want it I dedicate a space to move the tree farm and cut down the old trees giving me extra wood. And use the seeds, sell the rest that's leftover.
If you don't want seeds or extra trees growing lay down a path between every tree like a grid so no seeds spawn between them.
don't forget the lighting rods. I did that once. had a good looking farm [although not as big as good as yours ] but IN ONE STORM, I had lightning bolts trash my coop , 2 fruit trees and the Mill was wasted....!

It’s middle of July and I’m still waiting for the 1.6 on switch these streams are the only thing keeping me from going crazy! (I’m watching them slower then when she first started cause I don’t want to restart my save and be done w it and do/move onto other things before the update!)

I didn't know that you could by teleporters= mini obelisk. you do great farm designs. I guess the way for me to plan ahead, is when I FIRST get a coop or barn, to place it where eventually I want it, in year 3??? You have great farm plans and know how to decorate your farm. Thank god for this game of Stardew Valley. It never gets old.

Hi Gab! Long time follower of your videos, discovered your channel when looking for Stardew Playthroughs roughly a year to a year and a half ago. Idk if you'll see this, but a game I've recently picked up on Steam is Sun Haven, and I was super curious to know if that was one you had looked into at all. I've been completely obsessed with it the last 3 weeks or so, it definitely reminds me of Stardew BUT it's more in the realm of fantasy. Still a cozy farming sim game, but more storyline, so many cool characters, you can pick from a different race/profession, etc. I wondered if that would be a game we might see on your channel at some point? Would love to see you do a playthrough! Something I think you'd genuinely enjoy if you enjoyed Stardew 🥰
Ya know.....my first play through, I had like 5 prismatic shards in my bs chest in Year 1. And I was like "I thought those were hard to come by"
Suggestion: Putting the pond chest on the second row of jars so it can be shared with the cheese/mushrooms/eggs chest.
I think the fish ponds would look so much better if you had them on the outside edges and have the jars mirrored in the middle rather than have all 4 identical
