Last night I lay asleeping There came a dream so fair I stood in old Jerusalem Beside the temple there I heard the children singing And ever as they sang Methought the voice of Angels From Heaven in answer rang "Jerusalem, Jerusalem! Lift up your gates and sing, Hosanna in the highest. Hosanna to your King!" And then methought my dream was chang'd The streets no longer rang Hushed were the glad Hosannas The little children sang The sun grew dark with mystery The morn was cold and chill As the shadow of a cross arose Upon a lonely hill "Jerusalem, Jerusalem! Hark! How the Angels sing, Hosanna in the highest, Hosanna to your King!" And once again the scene was changed New earth there seemed to be I saw the Holy City Beside the tideless sea The light of God was on its streets The gates were open wide And all who would might enter And no one was denied No need of moon or stars by night Or sun to shine by day It was the new Jerusalem That would not pass away "Jerusalem! Jerusalem Sing for the night is o'er Hosanna in the highest Hosanna for evermore!"
Thank you R.C., it is a phenomenal performance. It's a credit to the singers' voice-control when the listener can't distinguish which one is singing which part. The fellow on the viewer's left, Victor Engbrecht is singing the bass part & Philip Ens, the fair-haired guy to your right is singing the tenor part. I have another video featuring them on the following link th-cam.com/video/PYxuJmUh52I/w-d-xo.html.
@@floriens6827 perhaps the performance was one "from Victoria". Either way... both Gentlemen have INCREDIBLE Voices! Glad to hear this. @Flori Ens, If possible thank them for sharing their talents. God Bless you and Keep you Safe in HIS Loving Embrace. Have an AWESOME week ahead.
This is genuinely great singing.
Totally agree, they're quite incredible!
Praise the King!

Yup. These are my boys. Grew up with them. Talent to burn.
They are quite incredible, aren't they!
Wonderful version!
I agree. I've yet to hear a better rendition.
Wow! Fabulous voices. Is there anything else by them here?
Not at the moment, Stephen, but I do have one more of their performances on my tapes, which I will certainly be posting in the future.
Who are these singers, outstanding...And. Lol who is tenor and who is bass I can’t tell.

@@christculture7775 it's actually the other way around. Phil (on the right) is the Bass. Vic is tenor.
Vic Engbrecht and Phillip Ens (my brother ). except they are not from Victoria .
