When my kids were younger I'd do the same thing that Alyssa does. I get in the car and go get a treat and drive around and it would just reset me too. If I stayed home my kids followed me to the bathroom. You love your children more then anything but sometimes you just need a little break. You two are so good together and fun to watch doing a q&a.
You are not cheap John, you are wise and financially responsible. 😊 My husband has learned to do all sorts of things so that we don't have to pay someone to do a task. Obviously, sometimes you just need to hire out a job, but if we can do it, we will save the money. 😊

We have loved doing classical conversations for homeschooling! There is so much that can be done together as a family when they are in 6th grade and under and I appreciate the togetherness of our curriculum in those years…I also love how prepared my graduate and future graduates seem for wherever God calls them…work, college, relationships…

Alyssa I think you’re hands down one of the best Moms out their. You do social media with 5kids and to me that’s very impressive, you never look stressed when I know we all get stressed. You just carry yourself very well. Your children are always well dressed and I can see that you take pride in what you dress them in, their hair always looks Amazing. How you do it I don’t know well I do, God gives you the strength And energy too keep going and He places good people in your life that offers their help and that’s a Blessing.. You were just made too be a Mom. You had a great example growing up and now she’s a Awesome Granny.. I think it would be a great idea at the end of a vlog to do a end segment on a topics that are hard to talk about, I think you and John do a great job explaining why you do what you do.. You could do a series on why you home school your children that’s just example. You could do talk about different products you use for your children and why. You could do a wedding series because I think you could help a ton of women who are getting married and need help with decorations where to buy certain things or different kinds of foods and why you’ve done all these things and you could be a big help too a lot of people... We liked Colorado Springs area a lot, beautiful mountains,parks, etc. You are so correct about nasty comments, I have always said it is because they can hide behind the screen. You guys are so solid as parents and definitely structure is important.

We did an eclectic sort of curriculum and did different things for different subjects based on what worked for us! Sometimes that even varied by kid. Favorites were Saxon math, Apologia science, BJU history and literature, Abeka languages. Also loving Masterbooks and Generations stuff now. There's so many more options out there now than there used to be!

Newport, RI has REALLY neat Gilded Age mansions, Portsmouth, NH has a super cool old downtown area that is next to the ocean and Bar Harbor, ME is just absolutely gorgeous!! How do I know? Just went there in July and REALLY enjoyed everything!!! I don’t know how long you would have, but it truly is worth the trip!!! As a fellow “soon to be 🤰🏻 “ mom of 5 i’m sure you have heard this 1 million times but just in case I will put my two cents for anyone else struggling. I also get pretty bad morning sickness and I really swear by taking a vitamin B6 and a Unisom! My midwife recommended it to me and not only does it help with the pregnancy insomnia but it definitely was helping me function throughout the day after I took it. I had my most extreme morning sickness with my daughter and I started taking this special magnesium iron supplement and it was a night and day difference as well. Hopefully this info can help any other pregnant moms in the comments dealing with morning sickness. ❤️🩹
Good Questions. I recommend when you have the opportunity, visit Idaho and drive the Sawtooth or the Owyhee Mountains, Idaho does have a lot of beauty still despite the growing pains with people moving in the Boise area. Weather can be unpredictable. I wouldn't mind a series of videos or topics of each of you did something specifically. I know John is busy, however I would watch his DIY videos or giving talks that would benefits others especially Men. I don't get bored ever with your videos. I always enjoying watching them and I rewatch alot of them on a regular basis when I have free time. I will pray for papa bill and mama jane. As well as you guys. You are absolutely right. About routines. Our routine was down so good that the boys would do their bedtime routine on their own including putting themselves to bed. Read a book and go to sleep. They were doing this in elementary and middle school. High school they had jobs driving. So they went to bed whenever. And still made it to school on time. Less stress for everyone..
Alyssa, when my kids were young I did the same thing for a break. The loud music was a must and it did the trick. The q and a's are great. I learn different things not just about your family, but I try to answer those questions for my life if it pertains to my life and it does help and encourage so thank you. I think a video on a specific topic would be nice. I enjoy all your videos and vlogs.
I would love anything y’all want to do. Right now I am sick of figuring out dinners. I’d love to know what all you serve your family, even if it’s cereal. That would be a huge help to me. Yes definitely do videos like that! Maybe since I have 5 kids, but watching other people’s day with kids isn’t very relaxing for me personally. 😂 So I love the educational videos on various topics, homeschooling ones, cooking, basically any that has a focus. I still follow some channels that vlog that I love, like y’all,just not as good about watching videos like that opposed to the more focused ones. Oh I love house tours and project ones too! So fun! And if u had multiple siblings that did the same thing that too would be sooo interesting,like traveling out west to Montana, Wyoming, Texas, New Mexico would be cool. Just went there in July and REALLY enjoyed everything!!! I don’t know how long you would have, but it truly is worth the trip!!! Maybe you could take Rhett with you and your other kiddos could have some quality time with grandma and grandpa!!! 😃

As a fellow “soon to be 🤰🏻 “ mom of 5 i’m sure you have heard this 1 million times but just in case I will put my two cents for anyone else struggling. I also get pretty bad morning sickness and I really swear by taking a vitamin B6 and a Unisom! My midwife recommended it to me and not only does it help with the pregnancy insomnia but it definitely was helping me function throughout the day after I took it. I had my most extreme morning sickness with my daughter and I started taking this special magnesium iron supplement and it was a night and day difference as well. Hopefully this info can help any other pregnant moms in the comments dealing with morning sickness. ❤️🩹

Good Questions. I recommend when you have the opportunity, visit Idaho and drive the Sawtooth or the Owyhee Mountains, Idaho does have a lot of beauty still despite the growing pains with people moving in the Boise area. Weather can be unpredictable. I wouldn't mind a series of videos or topics of each of you did something specifically. I know John is busy, however I would watch his DIY videos or giving talks that would benefits others especially Men. I don't get bored ever with your videos. I always enjoying watching them and I rewatch alot of them on a regular basis when I have free time. I will pray for papa bill and mama jane. As well as you guys. You are absolutely right. About routines. Our routine was down so good that the boys would do their bedtime routine on their own including putting themselves to bed. Read a book and go to sleep. They were doing this in elementary and middle school. High school they had jobs driving. So they went to bed whenever. And still made it to school on time. Less stress for everyone..
Alyssa, when my kids were young I did the same thing for a break. The loud music was a must and it did the trick. The q and a's are great. I learn different things not just about your family, but I try to answer those questions for my life if it pertains to my life and it does help and encourage so thank you. I think a video on a specific topic would be nice. I enjoy all your videos and vlogs.

Yes definitely do videos like that! Maybe since I have 5 kids, but watching other people’s day with kids isn’t very relaxing for me personally. 😂 So I love the educational videos on various topics, homeschooling ones, cooking, basically any that has a focus. I still follow some channels that vlog that I love, like y’all,just not as good about watching videos like that opposed to the more focused ones. Oh I love house tours and project ones too! So fun!
