I've never fished out of a kayak, always my canoe or a boat, but I can honestly say you've done a GREAT job with the review/tutorial. I've shared this vid with a few friends of mine that have pondered a Yak purchase. They definitely are state of the art and your modifications to make the vessel to your liking are impressive. If I was younger (OLD MAN NOW) I would HIGHLY consider one. Probably the ONLY disadvantage is no live well. They are certainly the wave of the future. Excellent review!!!

@@marcbeck3166 I do kayak and love it. I own a 2 person that can also be adjusted for 1 person. Usually kayak with my wife. For freshwater fishing though I use a 15' Michicraft canoe since 1987, which I TRULY love. That canoe is part of me, SO MANY great fishing memories in it!!!
@ that’s fantastic! I have a 45 year old Aquaterra Chinook that has fished both oceans and a lot of lakes and rivers in between. We have a trailer with 7 kayaks on it that we often take family and friends out on. Always a blast. Going to hand down the ole Chinook to my oldest son and pick up a Titan X soon. Tight lines!
Nice review you gave. Good advice for the "Casual" 'Yak Fisher-People out there, about the pedal drive! After letting some Friends fish in my Titans, they wouldn't have it any other way, though! They get to where they're going with the Newport motors, and use the pedal drive to fish. Once hooked-up with a Bass, they can back-pedal to pull it out to open water to fight and land. (They all own at least one or 2 'Yaks from different makers, but can't afford a Titan right now!). I've done a lot of "Mods" on my 12.6 "X" model, as you have, too. Thanks for all the great ideas.

That topic in the video was more for when people put their pedal drives in the attic and never take them out of the attic until it’s time to sell the kayak. There are PLENTY of people who use and love their pedal drives. But I think it’s a convo that needs to happen more especially when someone is considering purchasing. Thanks!
great review! I agree with most of your pros and cons, I put my Titan X in the bed of my truck and because of the weight immediately got a trailer for after my first trip.

No worries. Yeah it wasn’t an issue. Try through your dealer first then go through native. Some dealers are better than others with that, for me, i was already talking to native so didn’t make sense to bounce between the two.
@@4WDJeepDriver probably the same reason people say Kleenex instead of needing a tissue or crock pot when they refer to a slow cooker. Just what i think of whenever i see it. My fault

For the warranty, did you go through a dealer or did you handle it yourself?
