CONTAINMENT BREACH || SCP EAS

After-Action Report:
Site-██ suffered a containment breach of SCP-███. Due to the facility's location situated in the proximity of a suburban settlement, the Foundation Department of Public Affairs, alongside the Disinformation Bureau, and the Department of Public Disinformation, distributes 'emergency alerts' to various forms of media to civilians within 30 km radius of the facility.
Under the guise of the facility's front company "Species Care Providers", an alert to civilians of a 'loose animal' was distributed to prevent public dissemination of knowledge of anomalies and panic. This emergency alert works as intended - civilians remained indoors for the rest of the day while efforts from the field containment teams were focused on the recovery operation.
Approximately 4-5 hours since the initial containment breach, SCP-███ was recovered and contained by field containment team 'Delta'. Department of Public Disinformation and the Department of Public Affairs worked through the rest of the evening covering up and destroying traces of anomalous activity and any mentions of the emergency alert from social media were successfully destroyed.
