Tony Stacey covered this topic in the latest Dynamic Boards NED Community meet-up (Monday 17th June 2024). Tony can look down both sides of the governance fence. He was a Housing Association CEO for 37 years, working with 11 different chairs during that time. He chaired the national PlaceShapers (120 community-based, values focused associations) group for 5 years. Since he retired last year, he has chaired Sheffield’s Business Improvement District, The Baton of Hope (suicide prevention charity) and the Regional Al-Anon group for families of alcoholics.
The session was hosted by Ketan Varia who is part of the Dynamic Boards NED Community. By profession, he is an engineer and his career has been working on large change projects. His NED experience includes being on the board of a large NHS trust in London and being a school governor for 8 years. He currently sits on the board of a not-for-profit organisation
