    I have a Ph.D in a STEM field and my general advice is not to pursue it unless you are passionate about research or teaching (since PhD is required to teach in US universities). Otherwise, it's very tricky to motivate oneself to persist with it and do research and publish work to complete the dissertation. You are handling two major responsibilities (work and TH-cam) and adding PhD to it is maybe taking on too much. Relax, smell the roses as they say, and enjoy life everyday. All the best.
