This is a new sport/lifestyle called Tricking. It derived from martial arts and utilized vertical kicks as its basis, and over the past 15 years has evolved into more off axis-variations as well as implementing techniques from gymnastics, breakdancing, etc. Some of our practitioners have never even taken a martial art, and some came from a traditional background and were bored. IT IS NOT A SELF DEFENSE SYSTEM in any way, it's an aesthetic art form utilized for film, commercial, music videos etc
