After all these years, this is still the best slowmotion tricking video that I know of. The quality, the scenery and the tricks, everything i just superb.
Good to see that you guys are still going strong! I haven't done any tricking since 2006 myself but you were quite the inspiration in the good old days. Great locations in the vid, solid tricks and good edit overall. While I understand the concept of only showing the final landing I think it would have been fun to see more of the tricks nailed. Like the massive backtuck in the end. Cheers!
O wow. Haven´t seen anything from you in ages. This vid was undoubtedly the most beautiful I´ve seen. With all the different kinds of poses you do, your tricks are perfect to watch in slowmotion. The camera, the locations, the music, the tricks, everything top notch. Looks like a high budget BBC nature documentary,, about tricking.
I love that the tricks didn't land. It meant the whole video had continuity and when the last move landed it felt like that video had reached its goal.
This is the most beautiful tricking video I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot. You guys are fantastic for making this, thank you for spreading the beauty of human movement!
omg this sampler was beautiful micha!!!!! you most definitely killed it with swag in this!!!! very pretty tricks and scenery! i loved the clarity too!!! idk how you aquired that camera or what bank you robbed, but youre gonna have to make more samplers with it!!! tooooooo dope!!! you win!
Well it's a show that shows original videos from various sites of the internet, mostly youtube to show what people can do. It passed on Vlog (name of the show) on TVA (quebec channel)
I understand your wish to see the landings...you're not the first ;) But this Video was done that way to be different and to show the variety/creativity of single tricking Moves. Also it should give a feeling of "flying away" and floating through the landscapes.. Actually in the beginning i did not plan to put any take offs neither.. but i changed my mind during the edit. :)
Hey there.. I agree what you say.. I love doing Combos..and the landing is an important part (if not the most important). But this Video was done that way to be different and to show the variety of single tricking Moves. Also it should give a feeling of "flying away" and floating through the landscapes.. We did record a longer Combo in 400fps...not sure to release it yet.. But there will be 2 other "samplers" from the same trip. Which will be different.. :)
I'd love to see that aswell (you'll get why in the end) but I gotta say, the video as it is did blow my mind and I'll probably rewatch it quite often. I don't even trick, I just do parkour. That's why chains of movement (regardless what kind) as long as possible in this kind of high quality slow-motion would be three Christmas gifts in one.
I agree with Joe Watts. Even though this is an important element for demonstrating the movement I think you made the right call for this video. In the end this has a very artistic effect and feeling. There is great motion through the whole video and almost a story, or song, to the movements. Beautiful work and great tricking!
You look like Alex D (unless thats a nick name) I love this video, I can't get over how awesome the landscapes were, it was awesome. The single tricks especilly in slow-mo was like I was in a lucid dream seeing the impossible with all the combinations, tricks, slow-mo amazing views was just amazing :D
Thanks, I'm glad to hear it! Good reason enough for me to subscribe! I think I can see what you were aiming to do with that video, but to me every cut in the middle of the movement left me wanting for the rest of the trick... But in all honesty it's an awesome video with a great concept. Good job! :)
Hey there.. I agree what you say.. You're not the first wishing to see landings :) as mentioned earlier..i think the landing is an important part (if not the most important). Never too late to start! Important is that you have fun while doin' it!! Take your time to learn the moves and don't forget to train basics! Take care and good luck :)
This is the BEST thing I have EVER seen! I absolutely ADORE you! I particularly love the shots at 0:53, 2:02, 3:41 and 4:32! PLEASE MAKE MORE VIDEOS LIKE THIS
This is freaking spectacular. I too would like to see some damn landings (!) but his comment in reply to you is cool too and love the ideas. Subscribed. Boing.
Well maybe that's just me and I'm weird but to me the movement in tricking has a beginning and an end. Yes the twisting/kicking part is important but a big part of the grace of each movement is the way it's landed and how you started it. Also, chaining several tricks is one of the most important aspect of tricking, I for one would be really interested in seeing a beautiful (but still short) combo at 400fps, to see the flow of movement and how each trick influence the next.
its the one that costs $ 8,000? X) Anways, very inspiring video! Love all the seven lions remixes and florence & the machine so that made the video even better!
You made my Day Micha !!! und meine Trickingsession heute abend :)
That webster on the bridge. Forever the best shot. Well done. I'm wondering however - what did you render this in? It looks like you lost a lot of the original quality - some is of course due to youtube, but it looks like it could optain more detail.
He has plenty of other videos of him tricking normally, this is something different. It's not about what you like, it's that this is more along the lines of art and cinematography, and not a tricking-focused video. Tricking is the medium here, not the subject. Not sure if you understand what I'm getting at.
After all these years, this is still the best slowmotion tricking video that I know of. The quality, the scenery and the tricks, everything i just superb.
Gabriel Ståhl damn right dude I keep coming back to this video for the excellent song choice and the stellar videography
Why does the camera movement make it look fake? I need answers asked you as your a photo guy
Also blur softness makes it look fake too
One of the best samplers I've ever seen. Beautiful!
